DraftKings Daily Fantasy Basketball Advice - NBA DFS Lineup Picks for 10/31/15

Happy Halloween, everyone! Let's hope your lineups haven't been too scary this season!

In this article, I will be providing you with Daily NBA picks for DraftKings for 10/30/15. The picks will range from some of the elite players, to mid-priced options, and value plays.

Without wasting anymore time, let's get down to it!

We offer weekly, monthly or seasonal Premium NBA Subscriptions.

DraftKings Point Guards

Stephen Curry (at NO, $9,900)

On Opening Night, Curry dominated the Pelicans while scoring 40 points with 6 rebounds, 7 assists, and 2 steals in 36 minutes. Tonight, he gets a matchup against those same Pelicans. Curry is arguably the best point guard in the NBA, and he has a great floor/ceiling combination. Neither Ish Smith nor a broken Jrue Holiday will be able to slow down one of the best shooters in NBA history. He makes a great play in all leagues, as he should be coming into this game with loads of confidence.

Ish Smith (vs GS, 4,500)

Ish Smith has been phenomenal since joining the Pelicans right before the season. He’s getting heavy minutes, especially if Jrue Holiday sits this game out. In the first game this season, Smith recorded 17 points, 2 rebounds, 9 assists, and 3 steals in 38 minutes. He’s a high volume shooter, and he also has been assisting the ball well this season. It’s only a matter of time before his price shoots up, and Smith can be used in all leagues tonight.

DraftKings Shooting Guards

Klay Thompson (at NO, $7,000)

Thompson struggled in the Warriors first game against the Pelicans, as he shot only 3-8, and recorded 5 fouls in only 26 minutes of action. He’s the type of player to be aggressive in a potential bounce back situation, and it’s highly unlikely that Curry scored 40 points again tonight. The Warriors will need someone else to step up, and Thompson has the best chance to be that player. He has tremendous upside, but I’ll likely be using him strictly in GPPs tonight.

Langston Galloway (at WAS, $4,200)

Galloway looks like he could be on a strict 25-minute cap, as he has played exactly 25 minutes in each of the Knicks first two games. In those two games, he is averaging 12 points, 4 rebounds, and 3 assists (24 fantasy points). He gets a plus matchup against the Wizards, and this game could be a high scoring, fast paced game. Galloway will have even more potential if the Knicks bump his minutes up a bit, which he has looked like he has earned. For his low price, I like him in all leagues.

DraftKings Small Forwards

Carmelo Anthony (at WAS, $8,700)

It was a tough decision between Paul George and Anthony tonight, but even with George playing extremely well, it is impossible to deny Melo’s upside. In his last game, he took a ridiculous 27 shots, as he recorded 25 points with 7 rebounds, 3 assists, and 3 steals. If Melo can hit a higher percentage of his shots, his upside would skyrocket. He’s also contributing in the other categories, which gives him a decent floor, as well. I would likely use PG13 in cash games for a slightly cheaper price tag, but Melo is one of the best GPP options on the slate.

Rodney Hood (at IND, $3,900)

Hood has been playing well this season, scoring 17 points in his latest game against the Sixers. He only added one assist in that game, but he flashed upside in the previous game, scoring 12 points with 4 rebounds and 6 assists. He’s has been playing minutes in the 20s, which is more than enough time for him to hit value at his current price tag. The Pacers are also a much faster paced team this season, which gives Hood a bit more upside. He can be used in all leagues.

DraftKings Power Forwards

Blake Griffin (vs SAC, $9,500)

Griffin has been on fire this season, scoring 45+ FPs in his first two games, while playing limited minutes against the Mavs. His first game, in which he scored 33 points with 8 rebounds and 4 assists, was against the Kings, who he will be matched up against tonight. The Kings don’t have anyone at power forward who can keep up with Griffin, and he looks like a huge part of the Clippers offense again. He’s one of the safer options on the slate, and Griffin can be used in all leagues.

Kyle O’Quinn (at WAS, $3,700)

O’Quinn isn’t playing a ton of minutes for the Knicks (22.5 per game), but he has been putting up great fantasy points. On the season, he’s averaging 31.4 fantasy points per game, while averaging 9 points, 10.5 rebounds, 3 assists, 1.5 blocks, and 1.0 steal. While his lack of minutes are a bit concerning, his production, matchup, and low price tag all work in his favor. Washington doesn’t have a great defensive frontcourt, and O’Quinn makes a great GPP play for his cheap price.

DraftKings Centers

DeMarcus Cousins (at LAC, $10,000)

Cousins is one of the safest, and highest upside, players on the slate any time he plays. He’s as matchup proof as anyone gets, and he already has had a great game against the Clippers earlier this season. In that game, he scored 32 points with 13 rebounds, 3 assists, and 1 block, which was good for 54.25 fantasy points. I wouldn’t quite expect a game as good as that one, but he has more than enough upside to do it again, or exceed what he scored in that game. Cousins makes a great play in all leagues.
