BALLER MOVE: Add in 12+ Team Leagues
ROSTERED IN: 52% of Leagues
ANALYSIS: DeVante Parker made his comeback to the gridiron last Sunday when Miami hosted New York and, truth be told, it didn't feel like he has missed just a single beat. After appearing in the first four games of the season, hitting the shelves for the next three, having a brief cameo in Week 8, and then sitting all games until last weekend's, Parker was out there balling and will now have a bonus Bye week to rest before appearing on the schedule again in W15. The rostership will probably go down thanks to that W14 bye, so pounce on the opportunity.
Parker was on a steady diet of 7+ targets in all of the first four weeks of the season, and he got even more looks in W8 when he logged a season-high 11 targets of which he was good to haul in 8 for 85 yards. Parker couldn't reach those levels on Sunday, but he was still able to put up 11.2 PPR points to the tune of a 5-5-62 receiving line in just 48 snaps and a 70% snap share. Those latter two numbers were season-lows, but provided that DP was just coming back after missing four straight games, it made sense for the Fins to ease him in--even more winning against the Giants.
The Week 14 Bye is going to open the door to more than a few needy GMs that have already clinched the playoffs or are nearly there. That's because Miami is off to its Bye and the likes of Parker and Tua will be dropped in tons of leagues. Seriously, don't hesitate and grab shares of both guys. The Dolphins have gotten it absolutely right of late, don't know how to lose games, and are getting more than valuable fantasy production to their GMs out there. Perhaps not the ultimate all-format WW target, but surely one for those in slightly deeper formats.
