BALLER MOVE: Start in 12+ Team Leagues
POSITIONAL VALUE: WR3
ANALYSIS: Los Angeles Rams wide receiver Demarcus Robinson is the WR72 for the year, averaging five half-point PPR fantasy points per game. The veteran wide receiver is in his first season with the Rams after bouncing around the past few seasons.
While he has never been a fantasy star, Robinson has played well lately. Over the past five weeks, the veteran has been the WR12, averaging 13.3 half-point PPR fantasy points per game. He joins Puka Nacua and Cooper Kupp in the top 12 wide receivers during that span.
Robinson has been a scoring machine during his hot streak. The veteran wide receiver has four receiving touchdowns over the past five weeks, the most on the team. One of those receiving touchdowns came in Week 14 against his former team – the Baltimore Ravens.
The Rams will sit Matthew Stafford, Kyren Williams, and Kupp in a meaningless Week 18 game for the team. While Nacua will play, fantasy players should expect the star wide receiver to be on the field only long enough to break a pair of rookie receiving records.
Therefore, Robinson could spend most of the Week 18 game as the No. 1 wide receiver. Fantasy players should take advantage of the wide receiver’s unique situation and plug him into their season-long and DFS lineups.
