Daily Fantasy Golf DraftKings Picks (PGA DFS): Shell Houston Open

Welcome back RotoBallers. I'll be looking to get back on my winning ways and correctly pick the winner this week. I will be providing you with my PGA DFS DraftKings lineup picks for the Shell Houston Open. My goal as always is to help put together your optimal daily fantasy golf lineups.

While everyone in America was still fixated on the NCAA Tournament, Dustin Johnson continued his run of golf dominance defeating Jon Rahm in the finals to capture the WGC- Match Play title. He played the 12th hole seven times over the weekend and drove the ball (in yards), 401, 419, 325, 325, 346, 394, and 424. That's astonishing. Johnson also became the first player to sweep World Golf Championships. He currently holds all four World Golf Championship titles, HSBC, Bridgestone, Mexico, and Match Play.

In Puerto Rico, D.A. Points was 20-under defeating Retief Goosen by two- strokes winning his third PGA Tournament.

Editor's Note: Interested in RotoBaller's PGA DFS Cheat Sheet with expert picks, DFS prices, vegas odds, official world golf rankings, course history, past results and more advanced stats by PGA DFS Experts Seth Finkelstein and Chris Durell? Let us know here.

Reviewing Last Week's Pick

Graeme McDowell ($10,300): Cut, 2- under

Danny Lee ($8,700): T-56, 7- under

Tyrone Van Aswegen ($8,200): Made the cut but did not finish because he failed to make the Saturday cut

Andrew Johnston ($7,900): T-10, 15- under. BEEEEEEEF came through big time.

Boo Weekley ($7,300): T-37, 10- under

Dicky Pride ($6,200): T-68, 4- under

Fredrik Jacobson ($6,100): T-56, 7- under

Shell Houston Open

This tournament is used as a warmup for the top players heading to Augusta next week. Some elite players take the week off. Jordan Spieth, Jon Rahm, Henrisk Stenson, Rickie Fowler, Justin Rose, and Phil Mickelson will all be competing this week.

The winner of this tournament will be the last player to qualify for The Masters.

High Cost Players - Fantasy Golf Lineup Picks for DraftKings (PGA DFS)

Build a lineup with: Jordan Spieth ($12,000) or Henrik Stenson ($10,400)

You can't go wrong with Spieth, the hometown kid, but his price is a little high. I personally prefer Stenson. He missed the cut in his last tournament at the Arnold Palmer Invt'l, but took last week off to regain his form. In the five times Stenson played this tournament he has never missed a cut and has finished runner- up twice, last year being the most recent.

Rickie Fowler ($10,000)

Fowler also skipped the Match Play last week. He's been having a great year, including a T-12 at the Arnold Palmer Intv'l, at his lat tournament. In five Houston starts, Fowler has yet to miss the cut and has finished in the Top 10 twice, most recently last year.

Middle Cost Players - Fantasy Golf Lineup Picks for DraftKings (PGA DFS)

Phil Mickelson ($8,900)

I'm surprised his price isn't higher off  a quarterfinals loss to Bill Haas in Match Play. Mickelson has loved playing this tournament in years past. He won this tournament in 2011, and since has finished, T-13, T-17, T-12, T-16, T-4.

Rafael Cabrera Bello ($7,900)

He went to India two weeks ago on the European Tour and finished T-5 at the Hero Indian Open. This past week he failed to make it out of group play in the Match Play. He finished fourth here last year. His price doesn't reflect his game of late.

Bryson DeChambeau ($7,600)

After missing five consecutive cuts, DeChambeau finally looked like he's turned things around with a T-27 finish at the Valspar Championship and a runner-up at  Puerto Rico this past week.

Low Cost Players - Fantasy Golf Lineup Picks for DraftKings (PGA DFS)

Jhonattan Vegas ($7,300)

Vegas has made the cut in 11 consecutive stars and just failed to make it out of group play last week, losing by 0.5 points to Bubba Watson. Last year, Vegas finished T-19th and has made four straight cuts in Houston.

Ollie Schniederjans  ($6,700)

He tied for 34th his last time out at the Arnold Palmer Invt'l. He has the capability to finish in the top 10-20, which would be extraordinary for this price.
