Daily Fantasy Golf DraftKings Picks (PGA DFS): RBC Heritage

Seth I. Finkelstein looks to continue his daily fantasy golf hot streak with his PGA DFS lineup picks for DraftKings and the RBC Heritage

Welcome back RotoBallers! I'll be looking to get back on my winning ways and correctly pick the winner this week. I will be providing you with my PGA DFS DraftKings lineup picks for the RBC Heritage. My goal as always is to help put together your optimal daily fantasy golf lineups.

What an incredible Masters that was. I picked Justin Rose to win, but it was so difficult rooting against Sergio Garcia. If there were anyone I was happy losing to, it was Sergio.

Here's my little take to the 18th hole. Rose knew he had to make his birdie because Garcia's was all but a lock. Once Rose missed the birdie putt on 18, he checked out. He thought it was over. He put his head to rest upon his caddies shoulder while Sergio was reading his line. It was all but over until it wasn't. And just like that Rose had to mentally get back into the game. He couldn't, failing to split the fairway in the playoff. He instead had to chip out from the pine straw and play his third shot right next to Garcia's second shot. That was pretty much it.

Reviewing Last Week's Pick

Hideki Matsuyama ($9,900): 1- under, T-11. Opened up with a 76, but shot a final round 67 to finish 1-under and salvage his fantasy weekend.

Justin Rose ($9,200): 9-under, 2nd. Lost in playoff to Garcia.

Brandt Snedeker ($8,000): 3-over, T-27. He battled so hard to make the cut, and looked good on Saturday shooting a 69, but couldn't sustain shooting a final round 73.

Tyrrell Hatton ($7,600): 14-over, cut. Two birdies in two rounds. Truly awful performance. The only player I chose that missed the cut.

Matt Kuchar ($7,400): T-4, 5-under. His hole-in-one was a nice 10 points on draftkings.

Lee Westwood ($7,200): 1-over, T-18. As usual, he was near the top of the leaderboard early, but couldn't sustain his early strong play. Is Westwood the best player to never win a major now?

Bill Haas ($7,200): 6-over, T-36. He made the cut and hit some birdies. Good enough.

Marc Leishman ($7,100): 8-over, T-43.

RBC Heritage

We have a surprisingly solid field slated to play in Hilton Head, S.C., at Harbour Town Golf Links. The likes of Matt Kuchar, Russell Henley, Brandt Sneaker, and Charley Hoffman will take on the 7,099 yard par 71 golf course. This course is known as one of the shortest courses on tour play, and was also known for its compact fairways, until Hurricane Matthew knocked down many trees this past summer, leading to fairly wider fairways. Accuracy off the tee will be a major factor in choosing players this week.

Brandon Grace won last year with a score of 9-under. He will be looking defend his title. Matt Kuchar is the Vegas favorite at +1200 while Brandt Snedeker and Tyrrell Hatton are +2200 to win.

High Cost Players - Fantasy Golf Lineup Picks for DraftKings (PGA DFS)

As much as I want to pick Matt Kuchar ($11,500) to anchor my lineup, I hate choosing the highest-priced player and the player who will be most owned. Instead, I'll go with the duo of Martin Kaymer ($9,500) and Tyrrell Hatton ($9,300). Kaymer shot an opening round 78 at Augusta, but made the cut with a 68 on Friday. He played great Sunday shooting a 68, which included a run of five consecutive birdies. Hatton was my biggest disappointment scoring a grand total of eight points and single-handedly sinking my lineups. But I expect him to bounce back.

Here are their stats in the two categories that matter for this weekend:

Stroked Gained: Putting: Hatton: 1st, Kaymer: 18th

Driving Accuracy Percentage: Hatton: T-77, Kaymer: 4th

Middle Cost Players - Fantasy Golf Lineup Picks for DraftKings (PGA DFS)

Charley Hoffman ($8,700)

Hoffmann had one of the most spectacular first rounds in Masters history with a 65 on what was an extremely windy day. That was his only round below par for the Masters though. He was in the final group Saturday, and was hanging around until finding the water on 16. A final round 78 was a disappointment to what was such a great beginning. His strong play from the weekend will go a long way in self-confidence. He's 76th in driving accuracy and T-126 in SG:P.

William McGirt ($7,900)

Another player who had a terrific start to the Masters with an opening round 69, but that was his only round in 60's. McGirt has finished T-9 twice at this tournament since 2014. He's sixth in driving accuracy and 132nd in SG:P.

Luke Donald ($7,800)

Donald has done everything, but win at Harbour Town. He's been runner-up four times, finished third twice, and if that wasn't enough, he's the second all-time earner for this tournament. He's 157th in driving accuracy, but eighth in SG:P.

Low Cost Players - Fantasy Golf Lineup Picks for DraftKings (PGA DFS)

Sam Saunders ($7,000)

After consecutive cuts at the Valspar Championship Arnold Palmer Invt'l, Saunders bounced back finishing T-5 at the Puerto Rico Open and then placing T-20 at the Shell Houston Open. He's 69th in driving accuracy and 163rd in SG:P. He was cut at this even last year, but with his good recent form, I expect him to make the cut.

Brian Stuard ($6,800)

He's first in driving accuracy percentage which has to count for something for this tournament. He's yet to finish top-10 in the 11 tournament's he's played in this year, but that changes this week. He'll be able to drive accurately off the tee, but has to be able to get on in regulation, something he hasn't done so well this season ranking 129th.

Zac Blair ($6,500)

His last outing was at the Shell Houston Open where he finished T-8, improving upon T-62 finish at the Puerto Rico Open. He's eighth in driving accuracy and 99th in SG:P. He finished T-59 here last year, so expect him to make the cut, and then hope he makes some birdies over the weekend.

Best of luck!
