By MN National Guard [CC BY 3.0 (http://creativecommons.org/licenses/by/3.0)], via Wikimedia Commons

Jason Bales brings you expert NFL DFS advice for DraftKings Week 4. RotoBaller has the best daily fantasy football lineup picks and sleepers at QB, TE, WR & RB to target in your DraftKings GPP and cash lineups.

Welcome to the Week 4 edition of Daily Fantasy Football DraftKings Targets. An introduction is not really all that necessary, as the title of this DFS article pretty much sums up what is going to be discussed.

It's important to identify players with good matchups, but we also want to look at their DraftKings prices so we can hopefully find low-cost / high-production players for your lineups.

I will be providing one DFS top play and one value play at each position for Week 4 NFL DraftKings action. Let's get down to it.

DraftKings DFS Quarterbacks for Week 4

Eli Manning (at BUF, $7,000)

This decision came down to Andrew Luck against the Jacksonville Jaguars or Eli Manning against the Buffalo Bills. Surprising to some, Manning got the edge. As lackluster as the Giants' season has been so far, Manning has actually looked rather impressive over his last three games. Aside from his first game against the Dallas Cowboys week one, where he neglected to throw a touchdown, Manning is averaging around 20 fantasy points per game, but he has the potential to do much more than that. The most surprising part of Manning's season so far is that he has yet to throw an interception. This week, he gets a great matchup against the Buffalo Bills, who are getting dominated by the pass attack this season, allowing an average of 326.7 passing yards per game over their last three games. Manning and Odell Beckham are always a threat to find the end zone, and it is likely that a majority of DFS owners are going to overlook Manning this week.

Kirk Cousins (vs PHI, $5,400)

Let's stay in the NFC East for our QB selection this week. The Eagles are doing a solid job of keeping teams out of the end zone so far this season aside from the road opener versus Atlanta. Granted, the Washington Redskins pass attack is by no means one of the better ones in the league, but they will threaten the Eagles' defense more than Brandon Weeden and Ryan Fitzpatrick. Cousins is not making all the correct reads yet as illustrated by his four interceptions so far. But with DeSean Jackson expected back and Jordan Reed still standing, he should be able to piece it together eventually. So far this season, he has 715 passing yards, 4 interceptions, and 3 touchdowns. He looked good against the New York Giants, but it seemed as if the Redskins were cursed in that game from the beginning. It'll be interesting to see if the Eagles can trick the Redskins into straying from their ground and pound game with their up-tempo offense.

DraftKings DFS Running Backs for Week 4

Adrian Peterson (at DEN, $7,800)

Adrian Peterson is one of the top RBs in the entire league right now, but that should of been obvious before the season started. A lot of people were concerned about Peterson after his miserable season last year, but he is proving to everyone that he should still be concerned one of the best in the league. So far this season, he has 59 rushing attempts for 291 yards and 2 touchdowns. He also has 5 receptions for 79 yards, so he has been present in the passing game, just not as active as he should be. The Denver Broncos are a high-powered offense, even with Peyton Manning's arm problems, and the Minnesota Vikings are going to want to keep them off of the field. To do that, they will need to employ Peterson early and often. With 6.3 yards per carry last game, the Vikings game plan should be rather obvious this week.

Carlos Hyde (vs GB, $5,100)

Carlos Hyde has found his way onto this recommendation list for some of the same reasons as Adrian Peterson. Granted, Hyde is not one of the best RBs in the league, but his team's struggles are limiting his potential. The San Francisco 49ers face off against the Green Bay Packers this week, and Aaron Rodgers is arguably one of the greatest QBs to ever play in the NFL. He threw for five touchdowns last week against the Kansas City Chiefs, and the 49ers will do everything in their power to keep Rodgers and the rest of the Packers' offense off the field. Carlos Hyde has not had all that many carries since week one when he exploded against the Minnesota Vikings. If the 49ers are going to win games, they'll need to keep the ball out of Kaepernick's hands and run early and often. Hyde should see over 20 touches this week, and he should be able to return value with such a low price tag.

DraftKings DFS Wide Receivers for Week 4

Odell Beckham Jr. (at BUF, $9,100)

Pairing Odell Beckham Jr. with Eli Manning this week makes for a great combination in GPP formats. Beckham is the second most expensive WR on the board this week, but for good reason. So far this season, he has 19 receptions for 269 yards and 2 touchdowns. As I mentioned previously, the Buffalo Bills are currently giving up 326.7 passing yards per game over their last three games, so the Giants should be able to capitalize on that. Beckham is a rather consistent WR as he is going to be targeted heavily every single game. That makes him a safe play in cash games while his deep threat ability gives him excellent GPP potential. With Julio Jones only 200 dollars more expensive, lean toward Beckham in GPP formats and Jones in cash games.

Randall Cobb (at SF, $7,400)

Randall Cobb has been dealing with some shoulder injuries so far this season, but it looks like he is back to around 100 percent healthy. Last week against the Kansas City Chiefs, Cobb caught 7 balls for 91 yards and 3 touchdowns. He had a fourth touchdown too but it was called back. The San Francisco 49ers are having trouble stopping opposing offenses from scoring, and the Packers are the top offense in the NFL (arguably the Patriots). So far this season, Cobb has 20 receptions for 245 yards and 4 touchdowns. His production level should continue to go up as his shoulder issues fade and Davante Adams dealing with injury concerns of his own. He should be priced similarly to Julio Jones and Odell Beckham Jr. this week, so take advantage of his lower price tag.

DraftKings DFS Tight Ends for Week 4

Martellus Bennett (vs OAK, $4,500)

Martellus Bennett is one of the best TE options on the board yet again this week. He gets a good matchup against the Oakland Raiders who are currently allowing 323 passing yards per game over their last 3 games. Bennett has been targeted very heavily this season and Clausen will continue to look toward Bennett early and often. It'll be interesting to see if the Bears decide to throw the ball downfield this week or just continue to hand it to Forte. Bennett is very dependent on the play of Clausen, so definitely avoid him in cash games. However, he should catch a lot of balls, and if the Bears do find the end zone this week through the air, it is likely it'll be a short pass to Bennett or Forte.

Jordan Reed (vs PHI, $4,500)

Jordan Reed is one of the best TEs in the NFL and DraftKings refuses to give him credit. Over his last 3 games, he has 19 receptions for 241 yards and a touchdown. He is targeted very heavily by Kirk Cousins and he will continue to be targeted with DeSean Jackson sidelined. There is simply no reason to avoid him. He is going to catch between 5-10 balls, gain 50-100 yards, and possibly score a touchdown. At only $4,500, that is a pretty solid deal. A lot of DFS players are going to be on him this week, so use him in cash games.
