Daily Fantasy Baseball Streamers - MLB Hitter, Pitcher Lineup Picks for Sunday 5/30

tyler o'neill fantasy baseball rankings draft sleeper MLB injury news

Top daily fantasy baseball streamers and waiver wire adds for 5/30/21. Mike Marteny identifies MLB hitters and starting pitchers to stream based on matchups.

Welcome to another edition of our daily fantasy baseball streamers! Are you playing in leagues with daily moves and looking to beef up those rosters? We here at RotoBaller are there for you and all of your streaming needs. Whether you are just trying to get that elusive category win or you are trying to give your pitching staff a lift because Snellzilla got smoked on Monday, we can help. Each day, RotoBaller will provide you with some of the best streaming options to consider in both shallow and deep fantasy baseball daily leagues. Streaming hitters and pitchers to exploit matchups are important to help you win your league.

It is important to know your league if you're going to stream. I'm not just talking about which teams your leaguemates root for. I'm talking about whether strikeouts count against you for hitters or if fielding stats are included. Most importantly, you need to know how many transactions you have per week. You don't want to blow your allotment within a couple of days. You can also use these recommendations to help build your DFS lineups. This article will use rostered percentages and position eligibility from ESPN leagues.

We have 11 pitchers over 90% ownership and another four that are above 50%. That still leaves us half the pond to fish from. Are there any keepers in there, or will we throw them all back?

Be sure to check all of our fantasy baseball lineup tools and resources:

Hitter Streamers for 5/30 - Shallow Leagues

Andrew Vaughn (1B/OF, RHB, CWS) - 44.9% Rostered

Matchup: vs. BAL LHP Keegan Akin

Vaughn has smacked lefties during his rookie campaign for a .282 average and three of his four career homers. Two of those have come in the past week. The .318 average over that span can help your ratios today as well. This is the spot to jump on the Vaughn train if he's still available in your league.

Alex Kirilloff (1B/OF, LHB, MIN) - 44.5% Rostered

Matchup: vs. KC RHP Brad Keller

Keller has been better of late, but he's still not pitching all that well. Keller has limited the homers by inducing a lot more ground balls, but the defense behind him isn't all that strong. The return of Mondesi helps, but I still like this Minnesota offense that excels at getting hard contact and getting the ball in the air. Kiriloff has yet to find that heater that ended when he went on the IL, but he is still making solid contact. At some point the luck will change.

Tyler O'Neill (OF, RHB, STL) - 43.8% Rostered

Matchup: at ARI RHP Matt Peacock

Three homers in three games off the IL with seven RBI in that span. I really don't need to say anything else.

Evan Longoria (3B, RHB, MIA) - 33.5% Rostered

Matchup: at LAD LHP  Clayton Kershaw

Yes, Kershaw is a nightmare at home, but Longoria is a career .296 hitter against Kershaw in 27 at bats. As long as strikeouts don't count against you, this is a solid pickup. Longoria has three homers and nine RBI this week and is hitting at a .444 clip. He may not have huge success against Kershaw, but he should be able to help your average at the very least.

Hitter Streamers for 5/30 - Deep Leagues

Brad Miller (3B/OF, LHB, PHI) - 16.7% Rostered

Matchup: at TB RHP Collin McHugh

There's nothing special about McHugh, but the Rays bullpen is solid. Still, Miller has carved out a career hitting righties and has two homers, five RBI, and five runs scored on the week. He has even added a stolen base in there. Miller should be able to get you a counting stat or two while he's getting regular at bats.

Willy Adames (SS, RHB, MIL) - 14.9% Rostered

Matchup: vs. WAS RHP Max Scherzer

Those of you watching advanced metrics and Statcast should feel the vindication of Adames' heater since being traded to the Brewers. Those watching his recent barrel percentage, launch angle, and exit velocity predicted Adames would get going soon. He is 8-for-24 with four runs, a homer, and seven RBI since joining the Brewers and is showing no signs of slowing down. I don't like throwing him at Scherzer, but Max does give up the long ball, especially at home. I'll take a chance with a guy swinging a hot stick at a thin position.

Elvis Andrus (SS, RHB, OAK) - 11.2% Rostered

Matchup: vs. LAA LHP Jose Quintana

Quintana is not a good pitcher and hasn't been for a while now. After falling out of favor and the lineup in Oakland, Andrus has hit his way back into it lately. He is hitting .400 over the last week, but only has two runs and a RBI to show for it. Still, if you need a slight boost in average, Elvis should help. And I'll say he scores a run today since Oakland should plate a lot of them against Quintana.

Rob Refsnyder (OF, RHB, MIN) - 8.3% Rostered

Matchup: vs. KC RHP Brad Keller

What is a Rob Refsnyder and why should you care? That's not an easy answer. He's a 30-year-old journeyman from Korea who has spent parts of six seasons in the majors, but has never nailed down a starting job. Until now. With Buxton out, the Twins reached into the minors and pulled out Refsnyder, who is hitting .381 with two homers in 14 games. This is a solid matchup and he's a guy that doesn't strike out a lot. I'll take a chance that he can keep hitting.

Pitcher Streamer for 5/30 - Shallow Leagues

Yusei Kikuchi (LHP, SEA) - 41.5% rostered

Matchup: vs. Texas

The Rangers are a different team on the road. They have lost 11 straight away from Arlington and it's not looking any better against Kikuchi. He still struggles with command and times, but this year Kikuchi has been better at limiting damage. The 1.09 WHIP suggests that he has pitched better than the 4.02 ERA says. If you need ratio help, Kikuchi is a strong play today. He should also net you a handful of strikeouts and a win against the Rangers.

Pitcher Streamers for 5/30 - Deep Leagues

Kyle Freeland (LHP, COL) - 16.2% Rostered

Matchup: at Pittsburgh

Freeland's first start of the season was a good outing against the Mets. He struggled with his command, but only allowed one run and picked up five strikeouts in four innings. Freeland wont be allowed to go deep into this game either, but five innings isn't out of the question right now and the Pirates are......well.....the Pirates. They are still just hitting .216 against lefties.
