Daily Fantasy Baseball Streamers - MLB Hitter, Pitcher Lineup Picks for Monday 6/7

Top daily fantasy baseball streamers and waiver wire adds for 6/7/21. Frank Ammirante identifies MLB hitters and starting pitchers to stream based on matchups.

Welcome to the another edition of our daily fantasy baseball streamers! Are you playing in leagues with daily moves and looking to beef up those rosters? We here at RotoBaller are there for you and all of your streaming needs.

Each day RotoBaller will provide you with some of the best streaming options to consider in both shallow and deep fantasy baseball daily leagues. Streaming hitters and pitchers to exploit matchups are important to help you win your league. You can also use these recommendations to help build your DFS lineups. This article will use rostered percentages and position eligibility from Yahoo! leagues.

Today we have an 3-game slate, giving us a very shallow pool of streamers.

Be sure to check all of our fantasy baseball lineup tools and resources:

Hitter Streamers for 6/7 - Shallow Leagues

Jesus Aguilar (1B, RHB, MIA) 63% Rostered

Matchup: at BOS RHP Nick Pivetta

Aguilar is still available in too many leagues with how he's hitting this season. The veteran first baseman is slashing .265/.323/.495 with 12 home runs this year, including three in his last five games. He has a good chance to continue his hot streak in Fenway Park. However, Pivetta is a tough matchup, as he's posted a 3.66 xERA with eight or more strikeouts in three consecutive starts. Still, Aguilar is a hot hitter in a bandbox of a ballpark, so he's a good stream here.

Patrick Wisdom (1B/3B, RHB, CHC) 32% Rostered

Matchup: at SD LHP Ryan Weathers

Wisdom is simply on fire right now, going slashing .412/.444/1.088 with seven home runs in only 36 plate appearances this season. He's been even better against lefties, putting up a 312 wRC+ against them heading into Sunday's action. He has a good matchup against Weathers, who has posted a 5.29 xERA, which is much higher than his 2.06 actual ERA. Wisdom has a good chance to keep it rolling on Monday.

Hunter Renfroe (OF, RHB, BOS) 27% Rostered

Matchup: vs. MIA RHP Pablo Lopez

Renfroe is always in play at Fenway because of his power upside. He's had five multi-hit games in his last 10, including two homers and four walks during that stretch. Renfroe has been a nice pickup for the Red Sox, cutting his strikeout rate down to 25.4%. While the matchup is tough against Lopez, the Red Sox are always a threat to go off at home and Renfroe could be a nice cheap piece of that action.

Hitter Streamers for 6/7 - Deep Leagues

Justin Upton (OF, RHB, LAA) 17% Rostered

Matchup: vs. KC RHP Jackson Kowar

Upton has gone 6-for-14 (.429) with six runs, three homers, and seven RBI in his last four games. He's also walked four times with six strikeouts during that span, so he's clearly locked in at the plate right now. Upton has hit leadoff in five of his last six games, so he's in a prime spot in the batting order. Kowar is one of the Royals' top prospects making his MLB debut, making this an exploitable matchup for Upton.

Edward Olivares (OF, RHB, KC) 7% Rostered

Matchup: at LAA RHP Dylan Bundy

Olivares was recalled to the Royals after Adalberto Mondesi was once again placed on the IL. It was surprising to see Olivares sent down after how he looked in his brief stint with the team, hitting safely in each of his three games. He went 0-for-3 in his return on Sunday, but this is a player with intriguing speed upside, having stolen seven bases in 99 plate appearances in Triple-A this season. Fire him up against the struggling Bundy.

Taylor Ward (OF, RHB, LAA) 2% Rostered

Matchup: vs. KC RHP Jackson Kowar

Ward is another Angel that you can pair with Upton against rookie Kowar. Ward has been pretty solid lately, going 6-for-21 (.286) with four runs, one homer, and two RBI in his last seven games. While he hits in the bottom-third of the order, he could make for a nice wrap-around stack in DFS with Upton, who has mostly hit leadoff lately. Most young pitchers have really struggled this season, so we have to target Kowar here.

Pitcher Streamers for 6/7 - Shallow Leagues

Nick Pivetta (RHP, BOS) - 58% Rostered

Matchup: vs. MIA

Pivetta has been a fantastic find for the Red Sox, putting up a 3.77 ERA, and 1.22 WHIP with 28 walks and 68 strikeouts in 59.2 innings this season. He's tallied eight or more strikeouts in four of his last six starts. Pivetta should be able to mow through this Marlins lineup, which came into Sunday having put up an 88 wRC+ (20th) and 26.1 K% (T-27th) against righties.

Pitcher Streamers for 6/7 - Deep Leagues

Jackson Kowar (RHP, KC) 7% Rostered

Matchup: at LAA

It's a very limited player pool for Monday with the 3-game slate, so even though I'm recommending two Angels hitters to stream, I have to go with Kowar as my pick for a deep league streamer due to the lack of options for deeper formats. Kowar put up 41 strikeouts in 31.2 innings in Triple-A this season, so there's some strikeout upside against an Angels lineup that continues to play without Mike Trout.
