CS Summit EU

Best of 3

  • BIG (-130) vs. FaZe (-105)
  • OG (-125) vs. Heretics (-110)
  • Furia (-140) vs. Evil Geniuses (+105)
  • Cloud 9 (-150) vs. Gen. G (+110)

CS:GO DFS Captain Considerations

SyrsoN is $8,600 on this slate and while he is in the upper-tier from a pricing standpoint, he is worth paying up for. Over the last 26 maps played, he has produced a 1.32 K/D ratio and has generated a 1.27 match rating over that stretch.

In addition, he has had a .79 kill per round rate and only a .60 death per round rate. In his most recent matches against FaZe, he has produced a 1.33 K/D ratio and had a +21 K/D differential. He is one of the top-scoring options on this slate and is viable in all formats.

Floppy has found solid success against Gen. G over the last six months. He has played them on 10 maps and has accrued a 1.15 K/D ratio over that span. In his most recent match against them, he went +19 against them and had a 1.56 K/D ratio.

Over the last 21 maps played, floppy has had a modest 1.12 K/D ratio and a 51% headshot percentage. He has a .77 kill per round rate while having a .69 death per round rate. With his history against Gen. G, it is hard not to consider floppy, especially with his price tag at $8,400.

Other captain plays: tabseN, oSee, Maka

CS:GO DFS Value Plays

XANTARES is the top value play on this slate. Over the last month, he has produced a 1.27 K.D ratio and a +104 K/D differential. Over the last 26 maps played, he has produced a 51.6% headshot percentage while having a .76 kill per round rate while only having a .60 death per round rate.

In his last four maps against FaZe, he has produced a 1.25 K/D ratio when factoring in his price of $6,800, he is a lock for cash game lineups. Over his last five games played, he has produced 70+ DK points in four of those which means he is also viable as a value play for the captain role if needing to save money for roster construction.

Brehze is $7,000 which is insane to see on any slate. Over the last month of games played, he has produced a 1.07 K/D ratio and has a .70 kill per round rate. He has a 52.3% headshot percentage which is extremely good. Brehze has found success against Furia which is something that most people are not able to do.

Since the beginning of 2020, he has had a 1.21 K/D ratio against them over an eight map span. Brehze looks to be more of a tournament play due to the matchup but there’s a good chance he comes in lower owned due to the fact that he is going up against a top team in Furia.

Other value plays:  tiziaN, Nivera, Lucky, yuurih, stanislaw, kioShiMa, xms

Top CS:GO DFS Stacks

BIG has been white hot as of late as they have won five straight matches with four of those being 2-0 sweeps. They have beaten several top tier teams in Complexity, G2, and Spirit so they are showing that they are the real deal. BIG comes into this matchup against FaZe being ranked #8 in the world while FaZe is currently sitting at #3 overall. FaZe has dropped two straight matches and has only won two of their last five matches so they aren’t showing top form like BIG is. When looking at the map breakdown, BIG looks to have the advantage as they have higher winning percentages on five of the seven maps that are in competition play.

When looking at their head-to-head matches, BIG has swept FaZe in their two most recent matches earlier this month and owns the career head-to-head record of 7-3. From an individual player perspective, syrsoN leads this team with a 1.32 K./D ratio over the last 26 maps played.  XANTARES is right behind him with a 1.27 K/D ratio and looks to be the best value play on the slate. TabseN and tiziaN round out the group with 1.13 and 1.11 K/D ratios and make for great stacking partners for a three-man BIG stack.

Cloud 9 matches up really well against Gen. G as they own the all-time head-to-head record of 7-3 against them. Cloud 9 has won two straight games and are winners of three of their last five while Gen. G has lost three straight games and are 1-3-1 over their last five games played. Cloud 9 owns the map advantage with higher winning percentages on six out of seven maps that are in play for competition. What really stands out about this is that Gen. G will likely ban Overpass which is Cloud 9’s first pick usually and Cloud 9 will ban Mirage which is Gen. G’s best map (71% winning percentage).

Cloud 9 should be able to take advantage and have their way with Gen. G based on map choices, the actual matchup, and recent form. Floppy and oSee are the main duo to focus on from Cloud 9. They have both produced K/D ratios above 1.10 over the last 21 maps played and both average 58 DK points per game.

Other stacks/teams: Heretics, Evil Geniuses
