CS Summit EU

Best of 3

  • PACT (+375) vs. Fnatic (-600)
  • Complexity (+330) vs. C0ntact (-550)

PACT vs. Fnatic

This match seems like it could be a lot closer than expected. Fnatic comes in as winners of two of their last five games while PACT has won three of their last five games. Fnatic has been a tough team to figure out just because they seem to drop matches that they really shouldn’t. When comparing some recent opponents, PACT swept MAD Lions 2-0 while Fnatic ended up losing to MAD 2-1 so just from a common opponent perspective, PACT looks to be a viable opponent for Fnatic and could even pull off the upset.

Fnatic has really been in poor form as of late. Over the last 26 games played, they have gone 10-16 as a team and produced a team K/D ratio of .93. Brollan has really been the only one that has been truly viable to the roster as he has had a 1.04 K/D ratio over that 26 game span. Flusha and KRIMZ have both been underperforming and really has been the main reason as to why the team is struggling as a whole. They are both holding K/D ratios that are under 1 which really hinders the upside of this team.

PACT really has a chance to pull off the upset against Fnatic. Over the last 32 maps played, they have accumulated a record of 18-14 with a team K/D ratio of 1.03. They had a big win against MAD in the round of 16 which really showed the upside that this squad has. From a player standpoint, Sobol and Goofy are where you would look to start your PACT stacks. Both players have had above 1.10 K/D ratios and look to be the two most consistent players on this squad. If looking for more of a value play, darko could be your guy. He has had a 1.06 K/D ratio over the last three months of games played and is priced down at $5,600.

Pick: PACT wins 2-1

Complexity vs. C0ntact

Complexity has been playing really good CSGO recently as they are winners of four of their last five matches played. In their opening contest of the CS Summit 6 Europe Qualifier, they defeated Japaleno 2-1. After that match, they ran into the red hot BIG squad which defeated them 2-0 which has them matched up against c0ntact in the 5th place decider bracket. C0ntact on the other hand, defeated AVEZ 2-0 in the round of 16 but was then quickly ousted by OG 2-0 in the quarter-final round. These two squads have faced each other earlier this month with Complexity getting both map wins and holds the all-time head-to-head record of 2-0.

Complexity has had a team K/D ratio of 1.12 over the last 59 maps played. They are getting major contributions from almost everyone on the team but any COmplexity stack begins with blameF. He leads this team with a 1.43 K/D ratio over the last 59 maps played and is a viable play in the captain role. Poizon, obo, and k0nfig are all viable on this slate as secondary stacking options as they all have similar K/D ratios over the last month and are all lower priced compared to blameF.

C0ntact will have their hands full with this COmplexity squad. As a team, c0ntact has produced a team K/D ratio of 1.05 over the last 13 maps played. Over that same time span, they have gone 8-5 with two of those losses coming at the hands of Complexity. OttoNd is the main player that Complexity will need to look out for. He has had a 1.23 K/D ratio over the last month and produced a 1.11 K/D ratio against Complexity in his two matches against them earlier this month. It is more of a reach if you are wanting to use c0ntact in this matchup as Complexity looks to be the better overall team and should be able to pull out the win.

Pick: Complexity sweeps 2-0

Captain Picks: Goofy, blameF, Brollan, Sobol, k0nfig, ottoND

Value: k0nfig, Sobol, poizon, obo, darko
