Counter Strike: Global Offensive DFS Picks (6/19/20) - DraftKings, Daily Fantasy

Max Kulish's DraftKings. FanDuel DFS lineup picks for Counter-Strike: Global Offensive on 6/18/20. He analyzes CS:GO slates and top targets for eSports DFS contests.

Welcome back, RotoBallers, to our coverage of Counter Strike: Global Offensive DFS picks for FanDuel and DraftKings. If you haven't noticed, I am not your usual host, Jorge Pucks! My name is Max and I will be teaming up with Jorge to help you guys make some money playing CS:GO DFS.

I'm 26, currently living in Philly, am a huge sports fan in general, and a diehard for all the Philadelphia teams. eSports have always been something I've been really interested in following, and I hope to share some of my knowledge for your benefit! I typically stick to cash games myself so that's how I approach the slate, but fear not tournament players, I'm sure there's something for you here as well.

Today I'll be bringing you my Counter Strike: Global Offensive DFS lineup picks, analysis, and advice for eSports DFS contests on DraftKings for Thursday, June 19th, 2020 at 10:30 AM. Be sure to also check out our awesome CS:GO Premium DFS Tools including our Lineup Optimizer, Research Station, Projections, and DFS Cheat Sheets! Feel free to follow me on Twitter @Maxadelphia as I am happy to engage with readers and try to answer your questions. Good luck RotoBallers!

BLAST Premier Series (Best of Three)

Best of 3

  • G2 vs Natus Vincere (EVEN)
  • Ninjas in Pajamas vs Vitality (-120)
  • MIBR vs EG (-120)

CS:GO DFS Captain Considerations

Zywoo - $15,600 (C) - After having back to back maps against FaZe with under a 1.00 rating, the first time that's happened in 3 months, Zywoo is primed for a bounce-back performance. If you're like me and wondering "How did his salary increase after his performance today?", the answer is: he's playing NiP. In 27 career maps against NiP (his most against any one team) he is +97 K/D and boasts a 1.22 career rating against the Ninjas. It's also worth noting that NiP beat Vitality 2-1 when they played on June 10th, which means Zywoo will have to be a difference-maker if they want to reverse their fortunes from last time.

Brehze - $10,500 (c) - EG hasn't been living up to the billing as one of North America's elite over the course of 2020 after coming on strong at the end of 2019. However, their previous match, a convincing 2-1 over Team Liquid, might be the spark they need to get back to the top of CS in the Americas. In that 2-1 over Liquid, Brehze ended the series +8 overall, including a massive 22-10 game on Inferno in the decider map. Brehze is EG's best player, and they rely on him to do a lot of fragging. In the 1-2 series loss vs MIBR on June 6th, Brehze had his 2 worst maps of the last 3 months, and EG still barely lost those two maps. If Brehze is able to keep it rolling that could translate into a big series for him and EG.

Other captain plays: S1mple, Hunter, Nexa

CS:GO DFS Value Plays

Hunter - $7,800 - When these two teams faced off in the first stage of BLAST Spring Series on June 9th not only did G2 walk away with a 2-0 sweep, Hunter had the highest rating (1.2) and ADR (90.9), and 2nd most kills (45, behind S1mple's 49). He and Nexa have been leading the charge for the current #1 ranked team during their recent run of good form, and they seemingly take turns one-upping each other in terms of who is doing the heavier lifting. With Nexa taking charge in their last match against Ence, I see Hunter as the one to step up against a team he dominated 9 days ago.

Nawwk - $7,400 - The Ninjas and Vitality have already played each other in 2 Bo3s and a Bo1 since the start of June, and in those 7 total games Nawwk is sitting at +18 overall. BLAST Spring Series has seen Nawwk post his best rating since joining NiP with a 1.21 rating over those 10 maps played. Nawwk has been the most consistent player on NiP overall over the course of the last few weeks, he has been a consistent force in all matches against this familiar foe.

Other value plays:  Cerq, Plopski, Twist, Electronic

Top CS:GO DFS Stacks

G2 - The #1 team in the world takes on a Navi team that looked flat against a much lower-ranked Complexity team. G2 is a much more complete team at the moment, and while S1mple can win games/series on his own, it would take a huge performance from Electronic and likely one of the other 3 members of Navi for G2 to not win this series convincingly.

EG - I think EG makes for a great stack (particularly in tournaments) since they are projected to have lower ownership than MIBR. MIBR is coming off a controversial win against Furia which saw the action continue on to social media well after the game was over and has clearly been a distraction for the players. EG, on the other hand, is coming off their biggest win in months. EG lost a very close series to MIBR last week, and a boost in confidence could be all they need to turn things around.

Other stacks/teams: Vitality, NiP
