CFP National Championship Game - DraftKings Showdown CFB DFS Lineup Picks

Mike's top CFB DFS lineup picks for DraftKings for the CFP National Championship game. Who can help us close the college football season out with a win?

We have finally made it! After four glorious months of football and two months of rankings, it has all come down to......a rematch of the SEC Championship Game. This may not be what people wanted, but both teams proved that they deserved to be here. The SEC was the supreme being in college football again this year and the National Championship game reflects that.

I made my against the spread pick last week and the line hasn't really moved. There's still heavy betting on Georgia, but I'm still sticking with Alabama. I don't think Georgia gives up 600 yards of offense or gets blown off the field again, but I don't see an answer for Bryce Young either. It's one thing to manhandle a Michigan team that can't throw downfield. It's quite another to handle a balanced Alabama attack.

I will be providing you with daily college fantasy football picks DraftKings for the CFP National Championship game starting at 8pm Eastern. I planned to get this up a little earlier, but got busy. We're still going to go out with a win!

Be sure to check all of our fantasy football rankings for 2025:

DFS Captain Plays

Bryce Young ($15,900)

Young is expensive, but the Heisman winner secured the trophy with his 41.84 DraftKings points against Georgia the first time around. Is he going to throw for 421 yards again? With John Metchie III out, I doubt it. Is he going to throw for three touchdowns and run for another without a turnover again? Maybe. Betting on Young making a mistake is a fool's errand. He only threw five interceptions and lost three fumbles while throwing for 46 touchdowns and running for three more. Georgia's defensive strength is run defense, so if Bama is going to win again, it's going to be on the right arm of Young.

Brock Bowers ($9,200)

This is the only piece of the Georgia offense that I really trust. It doesn't hurt that Bowers is a hell of a bargain. He was the only reliable piece of the Georgia offense against Bama the first time around. He hauled in ten passes for 139 yards and a touchdown – easily his best outing of the season. The chances of a repeat performance aren't great. Alabama adjusts well on the fly. However, Bowers was the focal point of the Georgia offense down the stretch with six touchdowns in the last four games. Trust him to get in the end zone at the very least.

Other Captains: Jameson Williams, James Cook

DFS Flex Plays

Jameson Williams ($10,200)

A lot of things are going to be funneled to Williams with Metchie out. The Cincinnati game gave us who is now second fiddle to Williams in the Alabama receiving corps, but Williams is still the main piece here. He almost outscored Young in the SEC title game with 40.4 DraftKings points. Again, I don't think Williams hits 40 again, but Williams still put up 15 DraftKings points against a Cincinnati team with better corners. The Bulldogs might be able to keep Williams out of the end zone, but I'd say that 15 DK points is probably the floor.

Stetson Bennett ($10,000)

Bennett followed up arguably his best game of the season against Bama with a dismantling of Michigan. The last two games are Bennett's only 300-yard games of the season. Of all of the things that happened in the first game, I'd say the most likely repeat performance would come from Bennett. I think he piles up another 300 yards. The three touchdowns and two interceptions seem like a likely ratio as well.

James Cook ($8,200)

Cook is the kind of guy that can still put together a solid outing against the Tide. Cook is a good receiver out of the backfield and is a threat to take it all the way every time he touches is. Alabama took Zamir White out of the game. Georgia did the same with Brian Robinson Jr. I expect that to be the case again. This is going to be an aerial display again. Cook is the only back I would use from either team.

Other Flex Options: Slade Bolden, Ladd McConkey

DFS Value Plays

Ja'Corey Brooks ($6,400)

Robin is now a little more of a guess with John Metchie out of the picture. Bolden caught three passes, but Brooks hauled in four and scored a touchdown against the Bearcats. That's two touchdowns in the last three games for Brooks. Bolden was a little more productive against Georgia in the first game, but he looked to be the heir apparent to Metchie in the semifinals coming out of the bowl practice sessions. I'd say Brooks is slightly more likely to find the end zone for the Tide.

Will Reichard ($4,600)

As with most NFL showdown slates, both kickers are viable here tonight. Reichard has kicked at least two field goals in each of the last four games, which is really interesting considering Alabama's penchant for finding the end zone throughout the season. The reasoning for going with Reichard over Podlesny is mostly opportunity. I expect Bama to move the ball well and not turn it over. That was the difference in the first game and should be here as well.

Other Value Plays: Jack Podlesny, George Pickens, Trey Sanders

Enjoy the National Championship!
