CBB DFS: Main DraftKings Daily Fantasy College Basketball Picks - Today's Top Lineups (1/4/25)

Norchad Omier - College Basketball Rankings, NCAA CBB DFS Lineup Picks

Today's Main DraftKings CBB DFS lineup picks for 1/4/25. Mike M's top daily fantasy college basketball sleepers to build winning NCAA DFS lineups on DraftKings.

We have a big day of college basketball in front of us today and I'll be with you the whole way! The main slate is again the nooners. We have a dozen games here with Georgia in Oxford, North Carolina heading to South Bend, the Pack in Winston-Salem, and DePaul in Philly to take on Villanova to get us started.

The afternoon starts in Knoxville with Arkansas in town. South Carolina heads to StarkVegas. UCLA is at The Vault to take on Nebraska. Baylor heads up to Ames for some Hilton Magic. Butler is in New York to take on St. John's. BYU heads to Houston for a break from Utah winter. Duke is in Big D to take on SMU. We close this out in Cincinnati with Arizona in town.

This article will provide you with my daily fantasy college basketball lineup picks on DraftKings on 1/4/25, starting at noon EST. I’ll give multiple player suggestions at guard and forward, aiming to highlight one option at the salary scale's high, middle, and lower levels. Good luck, RotoBallers.

Today's DraftKings Guards - CBB DFS Lineup Picks

Hunter Sallis, Wake Forest ($9.2K)

Sallis is a volume shooter in the same vein as Wade Taylor IV. He can put up a lot of points in a short amount of time. Sallis has 76 points over the last three games. He's running hot right now and still putting up elite defensive numbers. We should take advantage while it lasts.

Wooga Poplar, Villanova ($7.7K)

Wooga has had two big double-doubles (18 points, 15 rebounds, 19 points, 10 rebounds) over the last two games. This is a great matchup against DePaul, but he may play fewer minutes if this turns into a blowout. I would expect Poplar to still be good enough in points not to hurt our lineup but notching that double-double bonus would be nice.

Jamarii Thomas, South Carolina ($6.6K)

Thomas has scored in double figures in five straight games with at least eight various ancillary stats to go with it. His ability to stuff the stat sheet in any category makes him a great DFS option. Thomas may be the best all-around player the Gamecocks have right now.

Skyy Clark, UCLA ($5.3K)

Nebraska's defense has proven to be tough, but Clark isn't a volume scorer anyway. He was instrumental in the upset of Gonzaga because of his nine rebounds and seven assists, not because of his 11 points. Clark has been playing better of late anyway. He has forced his way into more minutes and the price is right.

Claudell Harris Jr., Mississippi State ($4.9K)

Harris is getting major disrespect by DraftKings having him priced this low. He has at least 20 DraftKings points in five straight games, even breaking 30 a couple of times in that span. He has started three straight now with the Bulldogs logging a big win over Memphis in that span. Harris can score, but it's his defense that keeps us coming back...and keeps him in the starting lineup.

De'Shayne Montgomery, Georgia ($4.1K)

Here's the free space. Montgomery missed the first 10 games of the season because of academics, but he hasn't missed a beat on the court. He has 48 points, nine rebounds, six assists, nine steals, and two blocks in just 67 minutes of court time. The minutes are creeping upward. His ceiling is massive for the price.

Also consider: Caleb Love, Arizona ($9.4K); VJ Edgecombe, Baylor ($8.4K); Boogie Fland, Arkansas ($7.7K); Ian Jackson, North Carolina ($6.4K); Milos Uzan, Houston ($6.1K); D.J. Wagner, Arkansas ($5.6K); Jordan Gainey, Tennessee ($5.1K); Dawson Baker, BYU ($4.5K); Day Day Thomas, Cincinnati ($4.4K); Shawn Jones Jr., Mississippi State ($3.7K)

Today's DraftKings Forwards - CBB DFS Lineup Picks

Collin Murray-Boyles, South Carolina ($9.6K)

Murray-Boyles started slowly this year, but that is a distant memory now. He has at least 32 DraftKings points in every game since the loss to Indiana on November 16 in which CMB had his worst collegiate game. He's a walking double-double and is on his way to being an elite defender. He's what Johni Broome was last year.

Joshua Jefferson, Iowa State ($8.9K)

Jefferson has bought into Iowa State's brand of basketball, but he isn't just an elite defender. He's a force on the boards and has scored in double figures in seven straight games. Jefferson will showcase his defense against Baylor's towering interior in this one.

He's a great GPP play since he contributes across the board and no one runs players at Norchad Omier. Jefferson is a good pivot off of the other high-priced forwards.

Matt Cross, SMU ($7.2K)

The price keeps rising, but the production hasn't gone anywhere. Cross has at least eight rebounds in eight of the last nine games. He has scored in double figures in six of those, including at least 16 points in three straight. He's going to have his hands full against Duke, but this is a decent matchup for him against the Blue Devils.

NJ Benson, DePaul ($6K)

Benson held his own against the towering UConn interior. He should be able to against Dixon as well. Benson has played 30 minutes in each of the last two games and responded with 32 points, 29 rebounds, two assists, two blocks, and two steals. That's elite production at the price.

Josh Ojianwuna, Baylor ($5.3K)

Ojianwuna is perpetually in foul trouble, but he puts on a show when he's in there. He has at least 25 DraftKings points in four straight games. He's an efficient scorer, but isn't that involved in the offense. We're playing him for rebounds and blocks against a talented but undersized Iowa State front.

Trevon Brazile, Arkansas ($4.7K)

Hey, they finally realized that he was still on the team! Brazile has at least 29 DraftKings points in four straight games while averaging 25 minutes per game. That's outstanding output for his time on the court. They're going to need this production against Tennessee.

Also consider: Norchad Omier, Baylor ($10K); Eric Dixon, Villanova ($9.5K); Zuby Ejiofor, St. John's ($9.1K); Tae Davis, Notre Dame ($7.8K); Cameron Matthews, Mississippi State ($6.9K); Nick Pringle, South Carolina ($6.6K); Berke Buyuktuncel, Nebraska ($5.6K); Brandon Huntley-Hatfield, North Carolina State ($4.8K); Henri Veesaar, Arizona ($4.5K); Jonas Aidoo, Arkansas ($4.3K)
