MLB Prop Bets - Today's Home Run Prop Picks (6/28/2026)
Gunnar Henderson OVER 0.5 Home Runs (+320 Bet365)
It's my favorite time of the week! Zack Littell is on the mound for the Nationals, which gives us a great opportunity to get some home runs right off the bat. Littell has continued to be one of the top targets in the league this year for home runs. He has given up 21 total home runs, with 16 of them coming from LHH. We have quite a few options in this Orioles lineup to choose from, but I'm going with their star, Gunnar Henderson.
Lefties have sported a .648 SLG, .346 ISO, 13.7% Barrel%, and a 46.6% HardHit% against Littell on the year. These are some extremely high numbers across the board, and on top of that, we are at Camden Yards, where it is significantly easier to hit a home run on the left side than it is on the right. Across the last three years, Lefties have hit the fourth most home runs out of Camden Park compared to other stadiums.
Henderson has been hitting the ball off righties well recently; he has two home runs in his last 10 games against them and is averaging a 93 mph exit velocity in that time as well. On the season, he is sporting a .397 SLG, .174 ISO, 10% BarreL%, and a 50.6% HardHit%. 10 of his 16 home runs have come against lefties, and nine of his total home runs have come at home. I wouldn't be surprised to see multiple home runs from the lefties in the lineup against a struggling Littell.
Joc Pederson OVER 0.5 Home Runs (+475 Pinnacle)
Joc Pederson has been red hot recently, especially against RHP. Six of his last nine batted balls have resulted in an exit velocity of 100+ mph; three of those ended up being home runs. Joc has the second most home runs on the team, only sitting behind Jake Burger, who could be a great option to go yard as well.
The Rangers will be lining up against Shane Bieber, who is making his second start of the season. The first start didn't go too well either. He gave up three home runs and wasn't even able to complete four full innings before being pulled from the game. This is a bit concerning to see, and with how hot Pederson has been lately, he might continue this trend of home runs against Bieber.
Pederson, on the season, has 11 home runs against RHP, and is also sporting a .446 SLG, .198 ISO, 12.1% Barrel%, and a 47.8% HardHit%. With Corey Seager back in the fold as well, that adds another dangerous lefty to the lineup that could take him yard as well. This Rangers team is playing a lot better and is looking to sweep the defending AL Champions.
