CBB DFS: Main DraftKings Daily Fantasy College Basketball Picks - Today's Top Lineups (1/11/25)

Johni Broome - College Basketball Rankings, NCAA CBB DFS Lineup Picks - icon rotoballer

Today's Main DraftKings CBB DFS lineup picks for 1/11/25. Mike M's top daily fantasy college basketball sleepers to build winning NCAA DFS lineups on DraftKings.

We have a giant day of college basketball on tap for today with 32 games across three big slates! I'll be here with you for all of it! The high noon showdowns start in Champaign with USC in town. Notre Dame is in Durham to deal with those lunatics (and not just the basketball players). Louisville is in the Steel City to take on the Panthers. Creighton leaves the Birdcage for Hinkle to take on Butler.

The afternoon starts in Columbia with the Gamecocks hosting Auburn. Florida State is also in South Carolina facing Clemson. Kansas heads up to the (other) Queen City to take on the Bearcats. BYU is in Fort Worth to face the Toadies. Iowa State is also in Texas to take on the Red Raiders. Connecticut heads to D.C. to face Georgetown. Syracuse climbs Chestnut Hill to face the Eagles. We end in the other Columbia with Missouri hosting Vanderbilt.

This article will provide you with my daily fantasy college basketball lineup picks on DraftKings on 1/11/25, starting at noon EST. I’ll give multiple player suggestions at guard and forward, aiming to highlight one option at the salary scale's high, middle, and lower levels. Good luck, RotoBallers.

Today's DraftKings Guards - CBB DFS Lineup Picks

Steven Ashworth, Creighton ($9.5K)

The loss of Pop Isaacs has taken a little getting used to for Creighton. So far, it has been Ashworth who has been shouldering almost all of the load. We may have to discuss these usage numbers after another month of Big East play, but as of now, it just makes him a great DFS play. Ashworth has at least 32 DraftKings points in every game since the end of November.

Malik Mack, Georgetown ($7.1K)

The Harvard transfer is a big part of Georgetown's rise from the ashes this year. Mack has at least 32 DraftKings points in each of the last four games. Three of those came against good defensive teams in Xavier, Syracuse, and Marquette. 32 is probably the ceiling against a team like Connecticut, but he can still put up good numbers in this price range.

J.J. Starling, Syracuse ($6.4K)

Starling struggled with his shot in his first game back against Florida State, but those concerns were alleviated with his 9-for-16 performance from the floor against Georgia Tech. This is a great matchup against Boston College. Expect Starling to light up the scoreboard as he was doing before the injury.

Reyne Smith, Louisville ($5.2K)

Tuesday's game highlighted the risks of using Smith in your lineups. He made just one shot in seven attempts (all from three-point range) and finished with single-digit DraftKings points. He had cleared 24 in four straight games before that, so there is serious upside for the price. He could tank your lineup on his own though.

Lucas Taylor, Syracuse ($4.5K)

Taylor played so well with Starling out that the Orange decided to leave him in the lineup. He has scored in double figures in three straight games, playing at least 30 minutes in each one. You know how much I love opportunities for value plays. 30 minutes creates plenty of opportunities.

Also consider: Jaland Lowe, Pittsburgh ($9.8K); Hassan Diarra, Connecticut ($8.7K); Jamiya Neal, Creighton ($8K); Elijah Hawkins, Texas Tech ($6.8K); Dan Skillings Jr., Cincinnati ($6.3K); Wesley Yates III, USC ($5.8K); Tyrese Proctor, Duke ($5.5K); Lucas Taylor, Syracuse ($4.5K); Shakeel Moore, Kansas ($4K)

Today's DraftKings Forwards - CBB DFS Lineup Picks

Johni Broome, Auburn ($11K)

I worry a little bit about a blowout here, but if Auburn wins this going away, most of the work will be done by Broome. His ceiling is higher than anyone else. The floor is mid-40s. It's hard to say that he's not worth the price.

Tae Davis, Notre Dame ($6.6K)

The pricing for forwards is weird on this slate. There are a dozen options over $9K, then almost nothing in the $7-8K range (at least none that I'm interested in using). That takes us "down" to Davis...except there is nothing down about Davis other than the price.

Davis has at least 33 DraftKings points in four of the last five games. North Carolina was the only team to hold him under and they did it by keeping him off the glass. Davis is the leading scorer for the Irish and has done much better on the boards over the last month.

Taylor Bol Bowen, Florida State ($6.2K)

Bol Bowen isn't the most consistent player, but when he's on, he hits 6x value with little effort. In Florida State's two games since 2025 started, Bol Bowen has 30 points, 16 rebounds, six assists, four blocks, and two steals in just 51 minutes. Expect another high-impact game against Clemson.

Khaman Maluach, Duke ($5.2K)

Maluach is often overlooked on this team, but he also has a lot of talent. He is just far less consistent than Cooper Flagg or Kon Knueppel. The Irish have had problems with bigs in conference play since Davis isn't a monster presence on the boards. That's in Maluach's wheelhouse.

Jaylin Stewart, Connecticut ($4.6K)

Stewart had a big game against Villanova starting in place of Liam McNeeley. This should be the rotation until McNeeley returns at the end of the month. That makes Stewart the free space on this slate if he gets around 25 DraftKings points again at this price.

Also consider: Hunter Dickinson, Kansas ($10K); Ryan Kalkbrenner, Creighton ($9.2K); Ian Schieffelin, Clemson ($7.8K); Chad Venning, Boston College ($5.9K); Cameron Corhen, Pittsburgh ($5.7K); James Scott, Louisville ($5K); Chris Bell, Syracuse ($4.2K); Aboubacar Traore, Louisville ($3.9K)
