CBB DFS: DraftKings Daily Fantasy College Basketball Picks - Today's Top Lineups (1/21/24)

CBB DFS lineup picks DraftKings NCAA daily college fantasy basketball

Today's DraftKings CBB DFS lineup picks for 1/21/24. Mike's top daily fantasy college basketball sleepers to build winning NCAA DFS lineups on DraftKings.

We have a nice slate on tap for a Sunday. We have a couple of Big Ten games, some AAC games, and we finish with a Pac-12 game. Sound like fun? It will be! The Big Ten tips us off with both games early. Maryland is hosting the Spartans and Illinois hosts Rutgers.

Then we move to New Orleans with Tulane hosting Memphis. Wichita State heads to Tampa to take on South Florida. We have Florida Atlantic in San Antonio to take on the Roadrunners. We finish in Salt Lake City with the Ducks in town to take on the Utes.

In this article, I will provide you with my daily fantasy college basketball lineup picks for DraftKings on 1/21/24, starting at noon Eastern. I’ll provide multiple player suggestions at guard and forward, aiming to highlight one option at the salary scale's high, middle, and lower levels. Good luck, RotoBallers.

Today's DraftKings Guards - CBB DFS Lineup Picks

Johnell Davis, Florida Atlantic ($8,400)

Davis remains one of the better pure shooters in the college game. He hasn't shot below 45% from the floor since December 16, and this is from a player that takes double-digit shots per game. The good scoring numbers are accompanied by strong rebounding totals and good assist numbers as well. Davis is also active on the defensive end of the court. This should be another game where the Owls can get out there and run, so the ceiling is high on Davis. He has scored at least 40 DraftKings points in back-to-back games.

Deivon Smith, Utah ($7,000)

There is still no word on what is ailing Rollie Worster, but if he's out again, Smith should be locked in. Smith has started in place of Worster for the last two games and put up 30 points, 14 rebounds, 19 assists, and a pair of steals. That's a huge return for this price. I don't trust his minutes enough if Worster returns in any capacity though.

Selton Miguel, South Florida ($6,600)

Despite being shuffled in and out of the starting five, Miguel has played at least 28 minutes in every game since November 30. Miguel is an efficient high-volume shooter who is active on defense and solid on the boards. He has at least 25 DraftKings points in 10 consecutive games. There is no reason for him to be this cheap, but I'm glad he is.

Bijan Cortes, Wichita State ($4,400)

Cortes finally made his first start for the Shockers after transferring in from Oklahoma and having to sit out until the court ruling. Cortes responded with eight points, four assists, two rebounds, and two steals in 29 minutes against a good Florida Atlantic team. If Cortes can do that against the Owls, I trust the production going forward. Cortes looked good in this one. He's my favorite value play on the entire slate.

Also consider: Jahmir Young, Maryland ($8,600); Tyson Walker, Michigan State ($7,700); Alijah Martin, Florida Atlantic ($7,100); A.J. Hoggard, Michigan State ($6,500); Derek Simpson, Rutgers ($6,200); Brandon Stroud, South Florida ($5,400); Keeshawn Barthelemy, Oregon ($4,800)

Today's DraftKings Forwards - CBB DFS Lineup Picks

David Jones, Memphis ($8,100)

I'm looking forward to the clash of titans between Jones and Kevin Cross in this one. I fully expect Jones to come out on top. Jones has at least 30 DraftKings points in four straight games thanks to his work on both ends of the court. NBA scouts are starting to follow Jones around. You can bet several will be on hand again in New Orleans today and you can bet Jones will put on another good show for them.

Vladislav Goldin, Florida Atlantic ($7,300)

UTSA doesn't have the size inside to handle Goldin. The big man dominated the interior against a long Wichita State team earlier this week with 17 points, seven rebounds, an assist, a steal, and four blocks. That was Goldin's third straight game of 17 or more points. This should be the fourth straight.

Nae'Qwan Tomlin, Memphis ($5,700)

Tomlin is dangerous when he stays out of foul trouble. This week's game against South Florida was the first time that he played more than 25 minutes in a game this season. He responded with 10 points and seven rebounds in 31 minutes. Tomlin is a better scorer for Memphis than he was for Kansas State and is still active on the boards. His propensity for foul trouble makes him a big-time risk though.

Jordan Geronimo, Maryland ($5,000)

Geronimo still disappears at times in games, but his last two games show the upside he is capable of. Geronimo played 62 minutes over the last two games and put in 21 points, 11 rebounds, and six blocks. This is a trend worth monitoring. Those in GPPs can roll with Geronimo as a value play right now. There is potential here, but also ample risk involved.

Also consider: Coleman Hawkins, Illinois ($8,200); Julian Reese, Maryland ($7,600); Kasean Pryor, South Florida ($7,400); Malik Hall, Michigan State ($6,700); Dalen Ridgnal, Wichita State ($6,300); Trey Edmonds, UTSA ($5,200); Mady Sissoko, Michigan State ($5,100); Mahamadou Diawara, Oregon ($4,000)
