C.J. Stroud start or sit Week 11 advice. Fantasy football start 'em, sit 'em picks for Week 11 (2024). Should I start or sit C.J. Stroud for fantasy football?
BALLER MOVE: Start
POSITIONAL VALUE: Low-End QB1
ANALYSIS: Houston Texans quarterback C.J. Stroud has had a rough stretch of games since Week 6, failing to record more than 13 fantasy points in each game. The losses of wide receivers Nico Collins (hamstring) and Stefon Diggs (knee, out for the season) have certainly contributed to this.

Collins is an elite WR1 and the alpha dog of this offense. In his absence, Stroud's best options have been WR Tank Dell, who may not be 100% at all this season, and career backups like John Metchie. His tight ends haven't played well either. The presence of Collins makes a massive difference for the second-year QB.
They'll face a Dallas Cowboys team that has no semblance of an offense anymore. While No. 7 will likely be under plenty of pressure early from Dallas defensive end Micah Parsons, as the game wears on, the Cowboys' lack of offense will tire out the defense, who could be on the field for much of the game.
Houston is likely to dominate in time of possession, overall plays, and the turnover margin, giving Stroud many more opportunities to score and produce fantasy points. The soft matchup makes him a low-end QB1 for the showdown between the two Texas teams.
