Indianapolis Colts - NFL Betting Analysis

This week, the Indianapolis Colts are hoping to get back in the win column, after falling 24-17 to the Tennessee Titans. The loss was costly, as it came against a AFC South opponent. By dropping the game, the team also failed to cover the spread, as they were had a 4.0 point advantage on the spread. Together, the two teams combined score remained below the over-under betting line of 43. In the game, Indianapolis trailed the Titans by a score of 24-17 heading into the 4th quarter. Through 4 games, the Colts have an ATS record of 1-3. So far, they have an over-under record of 0-4. This week's betting total of 43.5 is right in line with their previous games.

Heading into this week's matchup, the Colts offense is averaging 14.25 points per game, placing them 32nd in the NFL. This week, the team is matched up against the league's 6th-ranked defense, look for Indianapolis to have a below average performance compared to their usual offensive output. In the passing game, the Colts will need to be on top of their game, as they are matched up against a Denver defense that has been tough on opposing quarterbacks. On the ground, our projections show that the Colts offense will have its problems. Even though they have a decent matchup against a Denver defense, look for Indianapolis to come up with fewer rush yards than their season average of 87.75.

Denver Broncos - NFL Betting Analysis

This week, the Denver Broncos are hoping to get back in the win column after falling 32-23 to the Las Vegas Raiders. The loss was costly, as it came against a AFC West opponent. Not only did Denver lose the game, they also failed to cover the spread. Going into the game, the team was 2.5 point underdogs. With their combined 45 points, the two teams exceeded the betting over-under number of 44. The Broncos were not able to make a comeback in last week's game, as they trailed Las Vegas by a score of 22-16 heading into the final quarter. Through 4 games, the Broncos have an ATS record of 1-3. So far, they have an over-under record of 1-3. This week's betting total of 43.5 is right in line with their previous games.

Heading into this week's matchup, the Broncos offense is averaging 16.5 points per game, placing them 30th in the NFL. Despite Denver coming into the game with a good matchup on offense, our projections show that the team could be in line for a tough game in terms of scoring. Even though Denver has a good matchup in the passing game, as the Colts are ranked 27th in passer rating allowed, we don't anticipate the team being able to take advantage. Look for the Broncos to finish the game with a below average performance in the passing game. On the ground, Denver figure to have their fair share of problems as they come into the game as the 18th ranked team in rush yards per game. In addition, they are facing a defense that has done a good job stopping the run.

Today's NFL Betting Pick - Colts vs. Broncos

Over the last 3 matchups between Indianapolis and Denver, the Broncos have won 2 of the last 3 games. The over-under record in these games sits at 1-2, with the average scoring total coming in at 40.0 points. Last year, the Colts and Broncos did not play each other.

The Denver Broncos have performed well vs the spread in recent games, going 3-0. On average, the Colts have averaged 16.0 points per game in the past 3 head-to-head matchups, compared to Denver at 24.0.

Over their last 3 regular season games, the Colts have gone 1-2 straight up. Like their straight up record, Indianapolis struggled vs the spread, going 1-2. Over these games, they put together an over-under record of 0-3.

Through their last 3 road games, Indianapolis has an ATS record of just 0-3. However, their overall record was 0-2-1 while averaging 10.33 points per game.

Over their last 3 regular season games, the Broncos have gone 2-1 straight up. This also includes going 1-2 ATS and an over-under mark of 1-2

Denver has played well in their previous 3 home games, going 2-1 straight up. In this stretch, they averaged 17.0 points per game while allowing 15.67. The team's also performed well vs the spread at 2-1.

Recommended ATS Betting Pick: Broncos -3.5

Recommended OU Betting Pick: Under 43.5
