Daniel Burdeen - RotoBaller

5043 articles

You won't find a bigger Cubs fan than myself. Aside from my love of fantasy sports, which includes MLB, NFL and NBA, I own my own animal care business. I graduated from Columbia College in Chicago and currently reside in Chicago, IL. My love of fantasy sports started for me in the early 2000's and I have steadily been active with the same group of friends year in and year out for every league in baseball, basketball and football. I am hoping to help all RotoBaller members with any questions they may have. I consider myself an expert with minor league prospects, as it is a love of mine. I hope to give the best advice I can to the RotoBaller world!

White has now started two games as an opener, but has […]

Patrick Wisdom Continues To Hit For Power

Chicago Cubs infielder/outfielder Patrick Wisdom went 1-for-5 with a solo home run in Thursday's blowout loss versus the Milwaukee Brewers. Wisdom has been one of the success stories of this year's waiver wire pickups […]

Frank Schwindel Hits Third Home Run

Chicago Cubs first baseman Frank Schwindel pinch-hit in Thursday's blowout loss versus the Milwaukee Brewers and went 2-for-2 with two runs scored and a solo home run. Kyle Hendricks Gets Lit Up In Loss

Chicago Cubs starting pitcher Kyle Hendricks got lit up in Thursday's loss versus the Milwaukee Brewers. Los Angeles Dodgers outfielder Cody Bellinger went 2-for-5 with a pair of two-run home runs in Wednesday's victory versus the Philadelphia Phillies. Bellinger has been having a disappointing season, but he is finally starting to turn the corner and has now hit the ball in seven consecutive games with four homers during that span. Manager […]

Jake Arrieta Gets Crushed

Chicago Cubs starting pitcher Jake Arrieta had another rough outing on Wednesday versus the Milwaukee Brewers. Arrieta got crushed right out of the gate and allowed seven runs in the top of the first inning. The Cubs needed some innings out of their starter, so Arrieta remained in the game and would finish with a […]

David Price Goes Four Innings In No-Decision

Los Angeles Dodgers starting pitcher David Price tossed a no-decision on Wednesday versus the Philadelphia Phillies. Price went four innings and allowed five hits, two runs, one walk and recorded one strikeout. Price only threw 51 pitches, but manager Dave Roberts continues to have a short leash with the veteran. Price has been pitching well […]

Mookie Betts Continues To Be Sidelined

Los Angeles Dodgers outfielder Mookie Betts (hip) will miss his third consecutive game with a hip injury on Wednesday versus the Philadelphia Phillies. Los Angeles Dodgers outfielder Max Muncy went 1-for-5 with a solo home run in Tuesday's victory versus the Philadelphia Phillies. Muncy has been having a great season, but had been ice-cold entering tonight's contest. Chicago Cubs starting pitcher Justin Steele picked up the loss in his first career start versus the Milwaukee Brewers in Game 1 of Tuesday's doubleheader. Steele worked out of the bullpen earlier this season and pitched well, but the Cubs recently stretched him out in Triple-A Iowa with the club beginning a rebuild. Steele went […]

Yoan Moncada Goes Yard In Victory

Chicago White Sox third baseman Yoan Moncada went 2-for-5 with two runs and a solo home run in Monday's blowout victory versus the Minnesota Twins.
