Daniel Burdeen - RotoBaller

5043 articles

You won't find a bigger Cubs fan than myself. Aside from my love of fantasy sports, which includes MLB, NFL and NBA, I own my own animal care business. I graduated from Columbia College in Chicago and currently reside in Chicago, IL. My love of fantasy sports started for me in the early 2000's and I have steadily been active with the same group of friends year in and year out for every league in baseball, basketball and football. I am hoping to help all RotoBaller members with any questions they may have. I consider myself an expert with minor league prospects, as it is a love of mine. I hope to give the best advice I can to the RotoBaller world!

Chicago White Sox starting pitcher Lance Lynn put together another quality start in Monday's no-decision versus the Toronto Blue Jays. The former Missouri Tiger was only able to pick […]

Jalen Guyton Snags Lone Target For 39 Yards

Los Angeles Chargers wide receiver Jalen Guyton showed off his speed in Sunday's preseason contest versus the San Francisco 49ers. Guyton caught a beautiful 39-yard pass from quarterback Easton Stick near the end of the first half. It would be his only target on the evening. The speedster is competing with fellow wide receivers Tyron […]

Joshua Kelley Struggles In Week 2 Of Preseason

Los Angeles Chargers running back Joshua Kelley struggled in his second game of the preseason against the San Francisco 49ers on Sunday evening. Easton Stick Tosses Touchdown

Los Angeles Chargers quarterback Easton Stick worked as the starter in Sunday's preseason game versus the San Francisco 49ers and played the entire first half. Los Angeles Dodgers starting pitcher David Price struggled in Sunday's loss versus the New York Mets. Alec Mills Struggles In Loss

Chicago Cubs starting pitcher Alec Mills got rocked against the Kansas City Royals in Sunday's loss. Chicago White Sox starting pitcher Reynaldo Lopez suffered his first loss of the season on Sunday versus the Tampa Bay Rays. Lopez went four innings and allowed six hits, three runs, zero walks and struck out four on the afternoon. Tim Anderson Will Miss Second Straight Game

Chicago White Sox shortstop Tim Anderson will miss his second consecutive game on Sunday versus the Tampa Bay Rays. […]

Kenley Jansen Converts 27th Save

Los Angeles Dodgers closer Kenley Jansen picked up his 27th save of the season on Saturday against the New York Mets. Jansen hit Kevin Pillar to open the frame, but then worked a 1-2-3 inning with two strikeouts to shut the door on the Mets. Jansen has been having a shaky second half, but he […]

Albert Pujols Hits 15th Home Run In Victory

Los Angeles Dodgers first baseman Albert Pujols went 1-for-2 with a solo home run in Saturday's victory versus the New York Mets. Chris Taylor Launches 18th Home Run

Los Angeles Dodgers infielder/outfielder Chris Taylor went 1-for-3 with a walk, one run and two RBI in Saturday's victory against the New York Mets. Trea Turner Goes Yard In Victory

Los Angeles Dodgers middle infielder Trea Turner came up big in Saturday's win against the New York Mets. Turner went 3-for-4 on the afternoon with a home run. His home run would be a solo blast off of Rich Hill to open the bottom of the first inning. Turner has been enjoying his time with […]

Max Scherzer Continues To Enjoy Dodger Blue

Los Angeles Dodgers starting pitcher Max Scherzer went five innings in Saturday's victory versus the New York Mets. The veteran was dominant against his former division foe and the only thing that was able to stop him were the 103 pitches that he threw. Scherzer went five innings and allowed five hits, one run, one […]

Seby Zavala Hits Fifth Homer

Chicago White Sox catcher Seby Zavala went 1-for-3 with a solo home run in Saturday's loss versus the Tampa Bay Rays. Zavala's blast in the top of the third inning would put the White Sox on the board, but it wouldn't be enough to hold off the Rays. The catcher has been filling in admirably […]

Barnes hasn't […]

Patrick Wisdom Hits 19th Homer

Chicago Cubs infielder/outfielder Patrick Wisdom went 1-for-4 with a solo home run in Friday's loss versus the Kansas City Royals. Dylan Cease Earns Quality Start In No-Decision

Chicago White Sox starting pitcher Dylan Cease recorded a quality start in Thursday's no-decision versus the Oakland Athletics. Kenley Jansen Records 25th Save

Los Angeles Dodgers closer Kenley Jansen earned his 25th save on the season versus the Pittsburgh Pirates on Tuesday.
