Detroit Tigers shortstop Niko Goodrum (hand) has been scratched from Wednesday's game against the Cleveland Indians. Goodrum took a ground ball off his hand during batting practice, so he'll sit this one out. Harold Castro will cover shortstop and bat second versus righty Mike Clevinger. Goodrum is not expected to land on the injured list.
