5 years agoSan Diego Padres catcher Austin Hedges (personal) has been placed on the bereavement list. Hedges will be off the roster for the next three to seven days, so catcher Austin Allen has been recalled in his spot. Allen held his own during his short time with the Padres earlier this season. He'll back up Francisco Mejia until Hedges is ready to return.--Andy Webb - RotoBaller
