ANALYSIS: New York Jets quarterback Aaron Rodgers has had two modest outputs through the first two weeks of the season and should be viewed as a low-end QB2 on Thursday night as he faces the New England Patriots.
In the opening week against San Francisco, Rodgers threw for just 167 yards and one score. In the second week, he saw a slight uptick to 176 yards and added two passing scores.
The Jets will typically lean on the running game with their standout running back Breece Hall and their emerging rookie Braelon Allen. As a result, Rodgers must be uber-efficient in the passing game to have a productive fantasy day.
