Tampa Bay Lightning forward Brayden Point missed Sunday's 5-4 shootout victory against Minnesota with an upper-body injury, and he's ruled out indefinitely. The team announced the news during the first period. Point got hurt in Saturday's 5-3 loss against New Jersey during the third period when he got tripped and crashed into the end boards. He managed to finish the game, but it looks like we won't be seeing him for a while now. It's a huge blow, of course, for the defending champions, who are already without Nikita Kucherov (lower body). The Russian has missed over a month of action and his return is still at least four weeks away. Alex Barre-Boulet filled a top-line role on Sunday and could enjoy a productive period if he sticks there, while the likes of Anthony Cirelli and Mathieu Joseph might also benefit from Point's absence.--Taavi Pailk - RotoBaller
