Tigers Reportedly Interested In Anthony DeSclafani
Anthony DeSclafani. The right-hander spent the 2021 season with the San Francisco Giants, pitching to a 3.17 ERA and a 3.62 FIP in 167 2/3 innings for the National League West franchise. He also struck out 152 batters while surrendering 42 walks. The Tigers could use reliable and effective veterans to slot in alongside Casey Mize, Tarik Skubal and Matt Manning in the rotation. DeSclafani would, speculatively speaking, certainly fit the bill.
