New York Islanders goaltender Semyon Varlamov will finally get his first start of the season on Sunday against Minnesota. The 33-year-old started the campaign with an undisclosed injury and has been forced to patiently wait for his chance to play, while Ilya Sorokin has crushed it with a 5-2-2 record and three shutouts. Varlamov had a great season last year with seven shutouts and a 19-11-4. The Islanders defense doesn't give up a lot of chances, and he'll hope that it will continue on Sunday against a good Wild team that has started the season with a 7-3-0 run.--Taavi Pailk - RotoBaller
