New York Islanders goaltender Ilya Sorokin will once again be the starter between the pipes for Saturday's visit to Winnipeg. Semyon Varlamov has declared himself healthy and ready to play, but head coach Barry Trotz continues to ride Sorokin, who's so far guarded the cage every game this season. Varlamov started the season with an undisclosed injury and was unavailable for the first couple of weeks. Cory Schneider has backed up Sorokin, but he was sent back to the minors this week. Sorokin has done very little wrong so far, going 4-2-2 in eight starts with two shutouts, a 2.23 goals-against average and a .933 save percentage. The Islanders have another game on Sunday against Minnesota, so that might give Varlamov a chance to make his season debut.--Taavi Pailk - RotoBaller
