The San Francisco 49ers are acquiring defensive end Charles Omenihu from the Texans, as first reported by Aaron Wilson. Omenihu appeared in six games (two starts) this season with Houston, racking up 11 tackles and three quarterback hits, all while seeing his snap count fluctuate on a weekly basis. The addition of Omenihu should give the 49ers defense another pass-rushing weapon to join alongside Nick Bosa and Arik Armstead. While San Francisco has difficult matchups over the next two weeks -- the Cardinals and Rams -- the schedule ebbs back into their defense's favor as the season wears on.--Jesse BorekRead More News
