New York Rangers right wing Kaapo Kakko (upper body) is ready to return to action on Friday against Columbus. The youngster has missed four games but was back in practice on Thursday and looks ready to go. Kakko hasn't registered any points this season in three games, but he's skating with Artemi Panarin and Ryan Strome on the second line, which puts him in a nice spot to perform. The 20-year-old will also rejoin the team's second power-play unit on Friday. Chris Kreider wasn't at Thursday's practice but it was only due to maintenance, and he's fully expected to play. Meanwhile, the Rangers have placed Ryan Reaves (lower body) on Injured Reserve and the 34-year-old bruiser looks set to miss some time.--Taavi Pailk - RotoBaller
