Los Angeles Kings defenseman Sean Walker (knee) tore his ACL and MCL in Monday's 3-0 loss to St. Louis and is out for the season. The 26-year-old was skating on the top pairing and had managed to record two points with 11 shots, eight hits and 12 blocks before suffering the nasty injury. With Drew Doughty (lower body) also out for an extended period, the Kings will now have a completely new-look first pairing. Olli Maatta, who has played just once so far, looks set to feature more regularly. The Kings are back in action on Thursday against the Jets.--Taavi Pailk
