Jerry Jeudy Won't Return Thursday Night
Jerry Jeudy (ankle) was not activated from Injured Reserve and won't return to action on Thursday night against the Cleveland Browns. John Brown was promoted from the practice squad to the active roster. Brown was on the active roster in last week's loss to the Las Vegas Raiders, but he played just six snaps and wasn't targeted at all. Jeudy has been on Injured Reserve since suffering a high ankle sprain in the season opener, but he could make his return in Week 8 against the Washington Football Team. Jeudy caught six of his seven targets for 72 yards in Week 1 before spraining his ankle, so he should return to a big role in this offense. Tim Patrick will be affected the most when Jeudy eventually returns.
