ANALYSIS: It's funny. By the end of last season, we would all have projected Green to finish 2021 as a WR4 at the very best, with the odd 15+ PPR week making it to his season-long game log but otherwise putrid averages on a weekly basis. How wrong we were... Green looks like a bonafide starter in both fantasy and real football games, is part of the undefeated Arizona Cardinals, and not even the addition of TE Zach Ertz seems to be a concern for fantasy GMs in possession of Green's shares ROS. Talk about a reborn man.
Other than a shaky debut in which Green put up just 4.5 PPR points--seemingly confirming our suspicions but ultimately fooling us--Green went on to score 13.4, 16.2, and 17.7 PPR points in the next three games before ending with a putrid 2.3 PPR tally back in Week 5. So it was reasonable to find folks out there doubting how real Green's start to the season was after that recent dud... after we reached Sunday of Week 6 and Green put on the Superman cape once more for a WR1 top-12 finish to the tune of an 18.9-PPR point game.
Green just had his best game of the year thanks to a 6-5-79-1 line. Whether you think that's sustainable or not is for you to decide. But the thing is, Green is the most consistent wideout out there by a mile. Like, it's borderline crazy: Green has three games with the exact same 5-reception, 6-target lines; has been targeted exactly 6 times in five of the six weeks, and has caught 3+ passes in all of those except the Week 1 debut. Green has scored 3 TD on the year already (he's alternated one and none touchdowns every week so far) and Arizona looks fantastic. The rostership is catching up to this man talents by the week, but there is still a window of opportunity to add him before it's too late and you should be doing so in almost every league, no matter the format.
