After getting in a limited practice on Friday, Los Angeles Chargers running back Austin Ekeler (hamstring) is listed as questionable for Week 1 against the Washington Football Team. It gives Ekeler a real chance to play this Sunday after he missed practice on Wednesday and Thursday, and head coach Brandon Staley is optimistic that Ekeler will play. However, the questionable tag and a tough matchup against Washington's stout defensive line make the 26-year-old lead back more of a high-end RB2 to open the season than a no-doubt RB1. Ekeler will have RB1 upside in 2021, especially in PPR leagues, but injury issues continue to hold him back from reaching his ceiling. Washington's defense last year allowed the third-fewest fantasy points per game (15.2) to running backs.--Keith Hernandez - RotoBaller
