Chris Bassitt Diagnosed With Fractured Cheekbone
Chris Bassitt (head) has been diagnosed with a fractured cheekbone and maxilla. He is slated to undergo surgery in three-to-five days after the swelling subsides. Most importantly, Bassitt's vision is 20-20, so he didn't sustain any eye damage from the comebacker he was hit by on Tuesday. We don't have a timeline on his expected recovery just yet, but we should know more on that soon. He will be heading to the injured list and fantasy managers can expect to be without him for at least the next few weeks, probably longer. He should remain rostered in all leagues until we get a better approximation on his recovery timeline.
