Gregory Soto Expected To Be Available For Next Game
Gregory Soto has passed a pair of COVID-19 tests after appearing in Tuesday's All-Star game, according to Tigers manager A.J. Hinch. Soto will continue to be tested in accordance with protocols, but the expectation is that he will be available out of the bullpen the next time the Tigers take the field. The Tigers had a doubleheader against the Minnesota Twins rained out on Friday. It was rescheduled for Saturday, so if the games are played, Soto will likely be an option for Hinch out of the pen. The first-time All-Star has a 3.00 ERA, a 1.34 WHIP and seven saves to go along with a 27.6% strikeout rate this year.
