Hideki Matsuyama will carry a high price in all contests this week, and he should see the weekend, but his spot at the top of the leaderboard is in question. Since his incredible victory at the Masters, Matsuyama doesn't have a finish inside the top-20. With that, his putting is going to be a major issue this week. Both of the previous champions at this event gained over a stroke on the greens during their wins; Matsuyama hasn't gained a full stroke on the greens since the Genesis Invitational. Matsuyama does have two top-21 finishes in both career Rocket Mortgage Classic's, but he has a best finish of T13 in 2019.
