Marc Leishman has 10 career top-25 finishes in major championships, but only one has come at the U.S. Open. Looking deeper, Leishman has missed more U.S. Open cuts than at any other major championship. One reason could be his inability to consistently hit the fairway. We know the rough is always tough at the U.S. Open, and this year will be no different. Leishman is hitting well under 60% of fairways, so that is once again a concern. However, Leishman has been dominant at Torrey Pines. Leishman won the 2020 Farmers Insurance Open and has racked up seven made cuts at Torrey Pines in his last eight starts. Because of the venue alone, Leishman should be considered this week, but be prepared for a letdown as well.--Kasey Kuhrts - RotoBaller
