Frank Ragnow Receives Record Extension
Jared Goff's job easier in his first season in Detroit. Pro Football Focus graded Ragnow as the second-rated center in the league last year.

The Detroit Lions signed center Frank Ragnow to a four-year contract extension on Thursday that will make him the highest-paid center in the NFL. The deal is worth $13.5 million per season, and he'll also receive $25.5 million fully guaranteed at signing and $42 million in total guarantees. Ragnow is under contract through the 2026 season at around $70 million in total. Along with the 2018 first-rounder, Detroit added Penei Sewell at No. 7 overall last week, which gives the Lions three first-rounders on their offensive line (Taylor Decker being the other).
