The Cincinnati Reds have placed outfielder Aristides Aquino (hand) on the 10-day injured list. Aquino underwent surgery to remove the hook of his hamate in his left hand on Friday morning. Infielder Max Schrock was called up from the alternate site in a corresponding move. Aquino has struggled to earn playing time this year amidst a crowded Reds outfield. He's yet to start a game, but he's appeared in 10 games as a pinch-hitter. He's made 14 plate appearances and has hit two home runs and a double and has an OPS of 1.055. The power upside is clearly still there, but he may need a trade in order to warrant a look from fantasy managers.--Andrew Ericksen - RotoBaller
