FanDuel NBA DFS Lineup Picks (4/10/21): Daily Fantasy Basketball Advice

kyrie irving NBA DFS picks daily fantasy basketball injury news

Dennis Clausen highlights the top FanDuel NBA DFS lineup picks for 4/10/21, and a couple of sleepers to consider while building daily rosters.

After Friday night’s jam-packed slate of contests, the weekend rolls on with seven games on the schedule, beginning at 7:30 pm (eastern). On Friday, we were treated to some impressive fantasy performances, with four superstars, Zion Williamson, Jayson Tatum, Zach LaVine, and Trae Young, racking up at least 61.1 fantasy points.

In this article, I will be providing you with my daily fantasy basketball lineup picks for FanDuel on 4/10/21. These DFS lineup picks can vary from higher-priced players and elite options to lower-priced players and value picks on FanDuel. You can also check out DraftKings lineup picks and injury news before lineups lock. Good luck, RotoBallers.

FanDuel DFS Guards

Kyrie Irving, PG - vs. LAL ($10,200)

Kevin Durant made his return to the lineup on Wednesday after missing time with a hamstring injury. He came off the bench and will likely continue to have his minutes monitored as he works his way back into playing shape. James Harden remains out with a hamstring ailment of his own, which opens the door for Irving to virtually monopolize the offense.

Brooklyn has a tendency to keep things closer than the Vegas’ odds suggest, so he should remain on the floor and contributing against a Lakers squad that continues to be without Anthony Davis and LeBron James.

Donovan Mitchell, SG - vs. SAC ($8,500)

The fact that Mitchell is still priced under $9,000 is truly amazing. He has produced at least 49 fantasy points in each of his previous two outings and will have a favorable matchup against the Kings. With the highest implied total on the slate, it is likely several winning lineups will have at least one of two Jazz players.

Theo Maledon, PG - vs. PHI ($5,700)

The Thunder have been short-handed as of late. Without several players in the lineup on Saturday, including Shai Gilgeous-Alexander and potentially Luguentz Dort, Isaiah Roby, and Darius Bazley, Maledon could be in line for a significant bump in usage and +/- differential.

The rookie has accumulated nearly 40 fantasy points against Charlotte a few nights ago but had a rough go on the shooting end against Cleveland. Without those guys in the lineup, Maledon could be in store for a heavy workload against the Sixers. Keep him on the radar.

FanDuel DFS Forwards

Robert Covington, PF - vs. DET ($5,900)

Covington was on a roll a few weeks ago, and his DFS asking price reflected it. He hit 46.1 fantasy points against Orlando, and on the next night against the Raptors, he had 50.4. He has since cooled off, but at a cost of only $5,900, fantasy managers should be willing to take a chance, primarily since Portland has one of the highest implied totals on the slate. Jusuf Nurkic is out, which only makes Covington more attractive for fantasy purposes.

Rui Hachimura, SF - @ PHX (5,800)

Hachimura continues to enjoy an uptick in time on the floor. Although Bradley Beal made his return a few nights ago, the 2019 first-round pick continues to impress. He averaged 17 points per game in March and is in a good position on Saturday against Phoenix. Beal (or Russell Westbrook) may not play to rest after dealing with Golden State on Friday night, so if either of those guys are out, Hachimura is a must-start in DFS lineups.

Miles Bridges, SF vs. WSH ($5,600)

Bridges is another guy capable of putting a dent in things on Saturday evening. Phoenix will draw a fantasy-friendly matchup against the Wizards, so loading up on Suns’ players isn’t a bad strategy. Bridges will be coming off a 20-point performance against the Clippers a few nights ago. His asking price is very reasonable as he could easily eclipse his value.

FanDuel DFS Centers

LaMarcus Aldridge, C - vs. LAL ($5,800)

DeAndre Jordan continues to see fewer and fewer minutes. While there have been rumors of a potential buyout, other reports suggest he is more than content with playing sparingly for a team that is a favorite to win an NBA title.

Aldridge continues to play well despite not playing a ton of minutes. Kevin Durant will likely play less than normal against the Lakers, which should keep Aldridge as the No. 2 option on the offensive end. He has benefited from the uptick in pace between San Antonio and Brooklyn, as evident by his average of just over 30 fantasy points since his debut with the club a little more than a week ago.

Enes Kanter, C - vs. DET ($5,000)

Jusuf Nurkic will rest on Saturday night against the Pistons, so of course, most DFS managers will automatically gravitate toward Kanter, especially at that asking price. Nurkic sat out against the Clippers a few nights ago due to a sore knee, which enabled Kanter to log 36 minutes and finish with a 15-rebound, 11-point double-double. He also had two blocks, so make sure to keep him in mind, primarily if you are looking for someone with a huge upside.
