Mike Trout In Midseason Form
Mike Trout's swing is on track, as he homered for a third straight game on Thursday while coming up a triple shy of hitting for the cycle in the extra-inning win over the Toronto Blue Jays. Trout said that he felt his swing was "getting close" after going 2-for-3 with a homer on Monday. His home run on Thursday went a projected 444 feet and also had an exit velocity of 110.6 mph, per Statcast. It's the ninth time in his career that he's gone deep in three straight games. Trout is slashing a cool .417/.563/.875 with five extra-base hits and six RBI in seven games so far this season. In his career against Ross Stripling, who he faced Thursday, Trout is 7-for-10 with three home runs. Continue to start Trout each and every day in your fantasy lineups.
