DraftKings Evening CBB DFS Lineup Picks for 3/11/21 - Daily Fantasy College Basketball Advice

CBB DFS lineup picks DraftKings NCAA daily college fantasy basketball

Mike Marteny offers his DraftKings daily fantasy college basketball sleepers for 3/11/21. His CBB DFS lineup picks and sleepers will help you win on DraftKings.

This is the time of year that us college basketball fans have been waiting for! We have two large tournaments on DraftKings today, encompassing all major conference tournament games. This is where the real madness begins. The main tournament has another ten games from conference tournament action all over the country, and we have some great ones.

It should surprise no one that Georgia-Missouri has the highest total on the slate at 154. The surprising part is that Duke-Florida State is only one point behind that total. Both of the Big 12(10) offerings are under 140. UConn has the highest spread on this slate. They are 13.5 point favorites over DePaul and the implied total is only 136. It's going to be a hard sell to be me to roster someone from that game. Same with Indiana-Rutgers. The total is 133, and it will take everything in both teams to get them to that mark. Everything else is between 140 and 143.

In this article, I will be providing you with my daily fantasy college basketball lineup picks for DraftKings on 3/11/21. I’ll be providing multiple player suggestions for players at guard and forward, aiming to highlight one option apiece at the high, middle, and lower end of the salary scale. Good luck, RotoBallers.

DraftKings CBB DFS Guards

Dru Smith, Missouri ($8,100)

This is a great matchup for Smith and the rest of the Missouri guards. The problem is that none of them really performed well against the Bulldogs this year. Smith had a couple of big games in February and a couple where he got into foul trouble, limiting his minutes and effectiveness. Missouri was ranked in the top 10 at one point this season. Now they sit on the eight line for the NCAA tournament. They would love to improve on that. It would start here by avenging a ten point loss to Georgia in Athens three weeks ago. Smith will be the guy that wins or loses this for Missouri. I'm thinking he shows up tonight.

Scottie Barnes, Florida State ($7,300)

The Seminoles are comfortably in the NCAA Tournament. There are about a half dozen teams that hope the Noles can do them a solid and beat Duke. Duke is still on the outside looking in, but they have looked like the Duke of old with their backs against the wall. This is going to be a tough game for Florida State. Peripherally, most positions match up well for Florida State. The best should be Barnes because he's hard to guard. Barnes may not start, but he still plays around 25-30 minutes per game and hasn't been under 20 DraftKings points in six weeks. He's got a nice floor and decent upside against Duke.

Brad Davison, Wisconsin ($5,800)

Penn State had some problems with Nebraska's guards last night and Davison might be better than that entire lot. Davison put up a solid 47.5 DraftKings points in two games against Penn State in the regular season. However, it's the way that Davison closed the season that has me interested tonight. He has at least 20 DraftKings points in five straight games, including tilts against Illinois and Iowa, both teams that defend the perimeter well. The same can't be said for Penn State. Davison has a legit shot at 6x value in this game, which is almost unheard of at this price range in college.

Mark Smith, Missouri ($4,800)

One of Smith's better games of the season came against Georgia on February 16. That also solidified Smith's position in the starting lineup. Smith doesn't have a huge ceiling with the ample talent around him on this team, but he puts up a lot of crooked numbers in peripheral categories. He had three steals and seven rebounds in the regular season game against Georgia. That's why we keep coming back. Smith has a nice floor for a guy priced this low. This matchup just makes him safer than usual.

Also consider: Sahvir Wheeler, Georgia ($8,900); Devontae Shuler, Mississippi ($7,200); Marcus Garrett, Kansas ($6,600); Jonathan Davis, Korn.....er.....Wisconsin ($4,500)

DraftKings CBB DFS Forwards

Timmy Allen, Utah ($9,300)

I'm not wild about this matchup. USC held Allen to only 57 DraftKings points in two games, but Utah in general and Allen in particular look a lot different than they did in January. Allen got a solid 34.75 DraftKings points on USC at the end of last month. What really has me looking at the Utes is that the offense is living up to their name of runnin' in March. Utah has scored 98 points in back to back games! They're not going to do that against the Trojans, but USC wont handle Allen like in the first meeting. This will be more like the last one with Allen's upside even higher because of the way the team is playing around him.

Raiquan Gray, Florida State ($8,300)

Duke has had problems with good forwards all season long. So far, they have managed to draw teams without a strong inside presence in the ACC tournament. That changes tonight. These two teams got their regular season tilt canceled. All we have to do is look at what Georgia Tech's Moses Wright and North Carolina's Armando Bacot have done to the Duke front in March. This team can't handle Gray. He's my favorite play on the entire slate.

Day'Ron Sharpe, North Carolina ($6,000)

It's easy to get excited about what the Tarheels front did to Notre Dame last night. Sharpe posted a double-double and eight assists in just 19 minutes! What has me chasing after him tonight is the absence of Garrison Brooks again. Armando Bacot got a nice price hike, but Sharpe's didn't go up that much. Walker Kessler isn't blocking eight shots again. Sharpe is the guy that will pick up many or Brooks' minutes. For this price, he's worth a flier, even against a solid Hokie defense.

Tyler Wahl, Wisconsin ($4,200)

Many of the Wisconsin pieces feel really cheap here. I know why Wahl is cheap. He hasn't shot the ball that well lately and he can be very inconsistent. However, he has really good upside for someone in this price range. Aleem Ford is worth a look too, but he's more of a cash game play. Wahl put 33 DraftKings points on Penn State back on January 30. His second game against them was mediocre, but that just highlights what the upside is and why I'm considering paying down.

Also consider: Keve Aluma, Virginia Tech ($9,100); Trayce Jackson-Davis, Indiana ($7,700); Adama Sanogo, Connecticut ($5,000); Nick Ongenda, DePaul ($3,900)
