Washington Capitals goaltender Henrik Lundqvist will miss the entire 2020-2021 season due to a heart condition. The 38-year-old, who signed a one-year contract with the Caps in October, was set to push for the team's starting role with fellow backstopper Ilya Samsonov. After spending the last 15 seasons as a member of the New York Rangers, Lundqvist still carried fantasy relevance - and seemed prime to improve upon his 3.16 goals-against average and .905 save percentage in 2019-2020. While it hasn't been determined whether or not this issue will force Lundqvist into retirement, the Capitals will have to turn to Samsonov to carry the brunt of the starts in what one can assume will be a very condensed 56-game schedule. --Chase Davis - RotoBaller
