Denver Broncos running back Royce Freeman is likely to operate as the backup to Melvin Gordon in Week 3 against the Buccaneers with Phillip Lindsay (toe) on the shelf with turf toe. However, Freeman saw just three carries for 20 yards in the Week 2 loss to the Steelers and just isn't seeing enough touches, even as the No. 2, to hold any fantasy weight. Tampa's defense has been vulnerable to running backs through the air in the first two weeks, but that's not really Freeman's forte.
