George Springer Goes Deep Against Mariners
4 years agoHouston Astros center fielder George Springer went 1-for-4 on Saturday in the Astros 7-2 win over the Mariners. Springer hit a 402-foot bomb to left field for his first home run of the season and his first hit of the season. Springer was held back by injuries last season but still slugged a career-high 39 home runs in only 122 games in 2019. The 30-year-old will be a free agent at season's end and is one of the premier leadoff hitters in all of baseball. Springer should continue to provide elite production in all fantasy formats moving forward.
