Pittsburgh Penguins center Sidney Crosby missed practice on Sunday, one day after leaving their scrimmage early for undisclosed reasons. Crosby left the bench Saturday about 10 minutes into the second period, walked toward the locker room and did not return for the rest of the scrimmage. Penguins coach Mike Sullivan declined to comment on Crosby's situation. The 32-year-old was injured on November 9 and had core muscle surgery days later, forcing him to miss 28 games before returning in the middle of January. Crosby recorded 16 goals, 31 assists and 47 points in 41 games before the season was paused in March. The Penguins will take on the Canadiens in their best-of-five Qualifying round series beginning on August 1 in Toronto, with Crosby headlining the Penguins top line alongside Jake Guentzel and Conor Sheary.--Denis Vondrus - RotoBaller
