Tampa Bay Lightning forward Steven Stamkos participated in a full-team practice on Sunday for the second straight day at training camp. Stamkos is recovering from a lower-body injury sustained during voluntary workouts. "The plan is to ease him back in. The plan is to get him in as soon as we can, but it's when he's ready," coach Jon Cooper said Sunday. General Manager Julien BriseBois mentioned that he expects Stamkos to be ready when the Lightning begin their first round-robin game on August 3. Stamkos had surgery in March after suffering a core muscle injury and missed the final five games before the NHL season was paused. The 30-year-old produced 29 goals, 37 assists and 66 points in 57 games while playing alongside Nikita Kucherov and Brayden Point, making the former first-overall pick one of the elite forwards across all fantasy formats.--Denis Vondrus - RotoBaller
