Carlos Dunlap 2020 Fantasy Outlook: Mr. Dependable For Strong IDP Stats
The Bengals have endured through many ups and downs over the last decade, but they have always received the best possible production from Carlos Dunlap. The 31-year old defensive end should be counted on for another strong campaign as he heads into his 11th season. Dunlap is ultra-reliable at a high IDP level, with nine sacks last year and not less than 7.5 in any of the last seven years. He is coming off a 63-tackle season as well, his best total since 2014. Durability is also an added bonus, as Dunlap has not missed more than two games in any of the past eight seasons. He may be one of the more underrated defensive linemen in the game, but Pro Football Focus did name Dunlap to their All-Decade team. The veteran standout should continue to be freed up to create havoc, as a deep defensive line added D.J. Reader. Cincinnati made many notable moves to revamp a sagging defense, and if a reworked secondary can make the hoped strides in coverage, that can only ensure Dunlap gets to the QB often.
