New Jersey Devils goaltender Mackenzie Blackwood stretched his winning streak to five games with a 36-save performance against the Sharks on Thursday. The 23-year-old netminder was beaten by Tim Heed early on, but he recovered quickly and helped his team to a 2-1 victory. Blackwood became the second rookie goaltender in franchise history to post a winning streak of five-plus appearances. It's been an amazing run that started with back-to-back shutouts against the Flyers and Kings. Blackwood has improved his record for the season to 20-12-7. He's recorded a 2.74 goals-against average with a .915 save percentage.--Taavi Pailk - RotoBaller
