The Edmonton Oilers defeated the Nashville Predators on Saturday night by a score of 3-2. Leon Draisaitl led the way with two goals. Those points broke a two-game scoreless streak for the power forward. Oscar Klefbom and Ryan Nugent-Hopkins both had two assists. The latter player has 13 points in his last 10 games. Young forward Kailer Yamamoto continues to spark the second line. He had an assist for the second straight game. Overall, he has 12 points in 14 games. Connor McDavid had an assist but was also hurt in this game, although the team is downplaying the severity of his injury. Goalie Mike Smith got the win in his 600th career game. Nick Bonino scored his 17th goal in the losing effort. He has a shot at 20 goals for just the second time in his 11-year career.
